About Patrick Zammit
Patrick Zammit became CEO of TD SYNNEX in September 2024, having previously served as COO for most of that year and before that held responsibility for the European and APJ regions. In a December 2024 video message to the company's Japan Inspire event, Zammit said that during a visit to Japan he met with co-workers and partners to understand the market and how to create value. He stated that innovation and collaboration are core elements of the business philosophy there, and that he believes culture and people are key differentiators in the industry. Zammit described Japan as a critical market for TD SYNNEX and said the company is committed to driving value, fueling growth, and simplifying the complexities of technological change for its partners. According to a September 2024 CRN report, Zammit's appointment followed a planned succession from former CEO Rich Hume, who retired. The report noted that Zammit, a longtime TD SYNNEX employee in Europe, was expected to bring a fresh perspective to the company but that no wholesale changes were anticipated for the channel.
