At the Digital Edge 2022 event, Benjamin Seror, co-founder and CPO of Similarweb, discussed the company's product vision and roadmap. He outlined a strategy for "smart growth" that relies on three pillars: a business strategy balancing growth and profitability, balancing expenses and revenue, and optimizing distribution channels. Seror stated that Similarweb aims to help users achieve this by providing data on their own company, competitors, and the entire market. He also described plans for workflow automation, integrations, and artificial intelligence to recommend next actions, as well as customization of offerings for different industries such as sales, CPG brands, and investors. Seror announced that a combined data and AI offering from Similarweb was live as of the event. He was quoted as saying that investors need data from the public market and that checking digital performance against consensus provides an edge for investing.
