Colette Kress, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nvidia, participated in the company's first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings call on May 20, 2026, and in a subsequent interview with Yahoo Finance. Kress reported that Nvidia delivered what she described as "an exceptional quarter," with total revenue of $82 billion, up 85% year-over-year and 20% sequentially. She stated that the company was increasing its quarterly dividend from 1 cent to 20 cents per share and announcing an $80 billion share repurchase authorization. Kress also provided an outlook for the second quarter, forecasting total revenue of $91 billion, plus or minus 2%, driven primarily by data center growth.
