Sharon Carmel, founder and CEO of Beamr Imaging, discussed the company's recent developments in video optimization and super-resolution technology in a March 2025 interview at Mile High Video 2025. Carmel stated that Beamr's content-adaptive bitrate (CABR) optimization is now running in real-time at 4K60 using NVIDIA GPUs, bringing about 40% added efficiency to video encoding. Carmel also discussed Beamr's journey to an IPO on Nasdaq, advising entrepreneurs to "get good advice from your auditors, from your legal advisors, from your bankers" and noting that becoming a public company "is not rocket science, it is doable." He added that once Beamr had confidence in its collaboration with NVIDIA, the company sought additional capital through the Nasdaq listing to execute on its plan.
