In a July 2022 financial results update, Dennis Dijkstra, CEO of Flow Traders, described 2021 as "another very strong year" for the company. He stated that the firm focused on executing its three core pillars in equity, credit, and digital assets. Dijkstra reported that Flow Traders traded more than 1.5 trillion in value in exchange-traded products (ETPs) across all regions, surpassing one trillion for the third consecutive year. He noted the company expanded its footprint in equity ETPs, as well as newly launched ESG and crypto ETPs. Dijkstra also said Flow Traders became a publicly non-disclosed dealer in credit issuances and expanded its digital asset offering. Dijkstra stated that the company provided liquidity to 200 exchanges globally and bilaterally to institutional counterparties, reaching a milestone of onboarding 2,000 institutional counterparties. He said Flow Traders supported initiatives like Pith Network, ShapeQ, and Mimex D2X to advocate transparency and innovation in financial markets. Dijkstra outlined a growth agenda focused on equity and index investing, the credit market, and the digital asset ecosystem, adding that the company stepped up investments and headcount to be part of that ecosystem. He also mentioned that Flow Traders recruited 160 new colleagues globally through its Flow Academy.
