Vibhuti Nayar, Director of Investor Relations at Pdf, delivered a TEDx talk in 2023 titled "The Ripple Effect," in which she discussed the concept of purpose and meaning in life. She described how dropping a stone into water creates ripples, and said that the size and force of the stone determines the number of ripples. Nayar stated that she discovered this phenomenon early in her life and that it changed her outlook. She expressed a desire to visit every tier-two city in India to tell girls "do not kill your dreams." She also shared a personal story about meeting a deaf and mute man named Rakesh in Jaisalmer, after which his wife contacted her to request ongoing video calls, which Nayar described as an example of the ripple effect. She emphasized the importance of consistency and persistence, noting that she has been on her journey for 15 years and is "not looking back." In a 2014 event introducing speaker Jairek Robbins, Nayar spoke about her company's 20-year history in the region, stating that they are "the only company bringing these speakers" and have "created that space for ourselves and this region for learning and development." She thanked the headline sponsor and noted that holding a learning experience in a cinema was "a very different experience" compared to a hotel. She introduced Robbins by saying that at age 23 he received a commendation award from the United States Congress and by age 25 had become "an international phenomenon for creating this formula of achieving rapid results." She added that she had been training with him for several days and described him as "something else."
