Shlomi Haim, CEO and co-founder of JFrog, discussed the company's history and growth in a recent podcast appearance. He stated that JFrog reached $200 million in revenue without hiring a single field salesperson, and described the company's early years operating from offices above a sausage factory while struggling to raise capital. Haim noted that JFrog is "one of the most successful IPOs today" and expressed a hope that it would become the first $1 billion company in Israel. Haim also addressed the company's strategic decisions, including the development of a platform and the acquisition of Vera, which he said "opens a brand new 200 billion TAM for JFrog." He recounted that during JFrog's IPO, he instructed his team to display the company's flag on stage despite not having received approval, and claimed that no other company had done so on its biggest day. Additionally, Haim spoke about the importance of including underrepresented populations such as Haredi Jews and Arabs in Israel's high-tech industry, calling it a significant social change that could help address the country's challenges.
