Jeff McElfresh, Chief Operating Officer of AT&T, has been discussing the company’s network investments and infrastructure plans. In March 2026, he announced a $250 billion investment through 2030 to expand fiber optics and wireless capabilities, including 5G, attributing the scale of the investment to a “pro-investment and regulatory framework” under the current administration.
