“We will not produce or publish AI-written content — you can use AI to research, brainstorm and process information, but we have clear editorial agreements that AI should not be used to write published articles.”
On , Vivek Shah, Chief Executive Officer, President & Director at ZIFF DAVIS INC, spoke about newsroom policy during AI, IP, and the Battle for Trusted Information on Worth Media.
In a May 2026 podcast, Vivek Shah discussed his company's focus on becoming an AI-first gaming company. He stated that the company is developing three Indian mythology-based games and one hardware product. Shah described two AI tools already in development: a game audit tool that analyzes a game's live link for faults and solutions, and a tool that generates marketing materials from a Figma or game link. He said the company aims to use AI to automate time-consuming tasks such as writing test cases, game design documents, level creation, and character animation, allowing teams to focus on creativity. Shah also discussed the Indian gaming ecosystem, attributing its struggles to a cultural perception that gaming is negative, contrasting it with Western views that gaming fosters smartness and curiosity. He noted that Indian companies are incorporating Indian culture into games to gain family support. Reflecting on his company's history, Shah said he acquired two companies in the first five years, focused on services and projects. He added that he is currently in discussions to acquire three more companies focused on blockchain, AI-based solutions, and marketing, with a goal of completing these acquisitions in 2026.
