Ran Kril, executive vice president for international marketing and business development at Elbit Systems, discussed the company's participation in the DEFEA 2025 defense exhibition in Greece. He stated that the European market is planning to rearm and is increasing defense budgets, and that Elbit has brought proven solutions that it has sold to other European customers. Kril said the company is discussing with the Hellenic Air Force opportunities to include some of its solutions on Greek Apache helicopters. He also said that in every contract, Elbit strives to include local industries and supply chains, and that if selected in Greece, the company would meet requirements such as at least 25% domestic production. In a 2017 interview at the DSEI conference in London, Kril identified Europe as the next engine for promoting business, with the UK as one of the most important domains. He highlighted the naval domain as an area that would evolve, promoting the company's Seagull multi-mission USV system and Skylark UAV family. Kril said Elbit had decided to put all its energy under one branded entity, Elbit Systems UK, to tackle sensitive information opportunities and be a local UK presence for projects with the UK Armed Forces.
