The Research Gap

High-signal conversations no news API will surface

The media playbook for CEOs, public officials, and top asset managers has forever changed, they now share their real thinking on long-form podcasts and off-the-cuff interviews. A16Z calls this "new media". In the past, industry titans would need to go through layers of IR gatekeepers to do a squawk box interview but today they go direct.

Why fundamental & quant teams and business schools use it

01 Off-script, candid signal

Major SaaS CEO said "headcount growth" in an earnings call โ€” and next month "layoffs due to AI productivity" on a podcast. That gap is the trade.

02 Data work, done for you

Acquisition, dedup, speaker verification, and quality-vetting handled. Save your postdocs, researchers, and analysts 100+ hours a quarter.

03 Complements calls & filings

An orthogonal signal, months ahead of the disclosure cycle. Ticker and CIK join keys merge into your pipeline in minutes.

What Our Data Looks Like

Every interview comes back as clean, labeled dialogue. We resolve each speaker, stitch the raw captions into real sentences, and stamp a timestamp on every turn. When the executive we track is the one talking, we attach their entity ID, so you can pull only their words out of a two hour podcast.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the OpenAI forum. I'm Chris Nicholson and I'm glad to be here with all of you today. Today's conversation focuses on one of the biggest questions in technology: what it will mean as AI systems grow dramatically more capable. So Sam, the blueprint we released this morning talks a lot about super intelligence. Why are we doing that now, and what are some things you can see from the inside that you wish everybody knew?
Sam Altman
Sam AltmanTracked Entity00:01:04
The biggest reason is simply that the rate of progress is continuing to accelerate, and we believe we are very close now. This won't be a one time thing. Over the next few years we expect to be in a world of extremely capable models. I think this will have huge impacts on the economy, on the way we live, and on what we can do. The more time the public, our leaders, and the political system have to debate ideas before a decision, the more likely we are to make a good one.

Chris Nicholson00:02:26
For sure. And speaking of debate, we brought in a lot of researchers very early in this process. What was that like for you and for the research group as a whole?

This is for certain. Everybody's jobs will change as a result of AI. Some jobs will disappear. Obviously, every single industrial revolution, some jobs are just gone and but a whole bunch of new jobs are created. Everybody will have to use AI because if you don't use AI, you're going to lose your job to somebody who does.

Stargate, put that name down in your books 'cause I think you're gonna hear a lot about it in the future. A new American company that will invest $500 billion, at least in AI infrastructure. The data centers are actually under construction.

Trusted by Institutions That Depend on Data Quality

We run systematic trading strategies where bad data leads to lower P&L. CEOInterviews got us firsthand transcripts from executives at all our target companies that we couldn't source anywhere else. Their support team was great in making sure we got everything we needed (content deduplication, removing spam or low quality content). Every edge case we flagged was fixed within 24 hours. With CEOInterviews we are able to make better investment decisions.

We spent months trying to stitch together statements from CFOs/CEOs for a white-paper on C-suite gender differences. CEOInterviews had 4,000+ executives with full transcripts, gender labels, and structured metadata out of the box. When we flagged missing companies, their team backfilled our entire target list within 24 hours. It unlocked research we genuinely couldn't do before.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CEOInterviews.AI?

CEOInterviews.AI is the world's largest database of verified executive conversation transcripts. It covers 20,000+ C-suite leaders across the S&P 500, NASDAQ, and global markets with over 1 million quotes and full transcripts from podcasts, interviews, conferences, and earnings calls.

How are executive transcripts verified?

Every transcript runs through multiple AI classifiers and human review to verify the CEO is actually speaking, not just mentioned. The system checks for deepfakes, dubbing, and secondhand reporting to ensure only direct first-person statements are included. Each transcript includes a confidence score.

Do your transcripts identify who is speaking?

Yes. Every transcript is available in an enhanced, speaker attributed format. We group the raw captions into clean utterances, label each one with the person talking, and keep a timestamp on every turn. When the executive we track is the speaker, we attach their entity ID, so you can pull only their words out of a long conversation. These structured segments come back over the API in the enhanced_transcript field.

What executives and companies are covered?

CEOInterviews covers every C-suite executive across the S&P 500, NASDAQ, and global public markets โ€” over 20,000 executives from 2,000+ companies. It also covers political leaders including US Presidents, Prime Ministers, Federal Reserve officials, FOMC members, and ECB leaders.

Is there an API for accessing CEO transcript data?

Yes. CEOInterviews offers a RESTful API with full pagination, supporting 1,000 requests/minute with unlimited monthly requests. Data is available in JSON and structured CSV formats. Full API documentation here.

Who uses CEO transcript data?

Hedge funds use it for sentiment analysis and alpha generation. Business school researchers study leadership communication patterns. AI labs use the structured transcripts for model training. Journalists fact-check executive quotes. Private equity firms use it for due diligence.

How is this different from earnings call transcripts?

CEOInterviews focuses on unscripted content โ€” long-form podcasts, interviews, and conference appearances where executives speak candidly. These unguarded moments often contain more authentic signals than scripted earnings calls or press releases. The dataset includes both traditional earnings content and these harder-to-find alternative sources.

Stop Missing the Signal

The most candid executive statements happen in podcasts and interviews โ€” not filings. We made them searchable.
