Data availability statement

Many journals now require a data availability statement. You are welcome to adapt this language:

Template

The executive interview and quote data used in this study were obtained from CEOInterviews.AI (Applied AI Experts, LLC), a database of AI- and human-verified executive interview transcripts, timestamped quotes, and podcast appearances covering 20,000+ C-suite executives across the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and global markets (https://ceointerviews.ai). Data were accessed via the CEOInterviews.AI API on [date]. Access to the database is available to researchers at https://ceointerviews.ai.

Describing the data in your methods section

You may adapt the following description of how the corpus is constructed. A longer version, including the full verification pipeline, is on our About & Methodology page.

Methods language

CEOInterviews.AI continuously sources long-form executive appearances (podcasts, interviews, conference panels, and earnings-related media) from public platforms. Each appearance passes through an AI pre-vetting stage that confirms speaker identity, a human quality-control and compliance review, and an AI enrichment stage that adds speaker attribution, topics, and timestamps. Every record links back to its first-person primary source. The database covers more than 20,000 executives and 1,000,000+ quotes and transcript segments, with historical coverage back to 2005 and daily updates.

Citing an individual interview or quote

When quoting a specific executive, cite the interview page as the source so readers can verify the quote in context. Every interview and quote on CEOInterviews.AI has a stable public URL, for example https://ceointerviews.ai/interview/{id}/, and links back to the original recording with a timestamp. Cite the original appearance (show, date, speaker) as the primary source and the CEOInterviews.AI interview URL as the transcript source.
