Let's bring him into the TV. I'll show him. Dylan, how you doing?
Dylan Field 0:02 ↗
Hey, good. How are you guys doing? Oh, salute back.
Interviewer 0:05 ↗
Doing great. Great to see you.
Did you hear the news? America just won in overtime.
We beat the Canadians.
Dylan Field 0:10 ↗
I did not hear that news.
Interviewer 0:11 ↗
The Olympics in hockey. Yeah.
Dylan Field 0:13 ↗
Oh, wow.
Interviewer 0:13 ↗
It's great. There's a lot to celebrate.
Yes. Uh but give us the news in your world. How are things going?
Dylan Field 0:20 ↗
It's good. We're working hard, having fun. We just did our earnings and really strong results. So, we're super excited. 2025 was just a massive year for us and the fourth quarter
Interviewer 0:37 ↗
Uh was our best quarter yet. So, we had 40% year-over-year growth, right?
Dylan Field 0:42 ↗
You got it. We did 304 million in revenue.
Interviewer 0:47 ↗
Wow.
Dylan Field 0:47 ↗
Then also, we look at the whole year. We shipped so much. Went from four to eight products, launched over 200 features. And most recently earlier this week, on Tuesday, we launched a code to Figma design pathway where you can go from code to the Figma canvas. I'm really excited about how we can do this entire round trip and make it possible so that wherever you start, we can give you a way to go anywhere on the Figma platform.
Interviewer 1:12 ↗
Yeah. Yeah. And make it possible so that wherever you start... Do you think people are sort of underappreciating that loop because so many of the experiences with agentic coding systems like code are very toy projects? Like the first time I used code on desktop, I just remade the TVPN homepage to look like Berkshire Hathaway's website. I just took a screenshot. I didn't need to do any real work. It was a five-minute thing. I think a lot of people are amazed by the toy projects, but then they don't really think about what's happening when there's a design system, a large organization, an enterprise. This is going to be something that's enduring. So can you share a little bit more about that flywheel and what it takes to actually put these tools to use in a serious way?
Dylan Field 2:03 ↗
You know, I think it's actually really important. Even when it's a toy project, I'm a perfectionist. I want to figure out what is the best expression of my fun toy project. Maybe something like a Berkshire Hathaway website is a fairly constrained form factor, so maybe that's not the best example. I recently made a website for a friend who said 'I want to go viral this year.' So I made them a website with Figma Make. I tried a few different directions and quickly got to a list of ways for them to go viral given who they are. It's all collected together in a nice way. But even for a fun project like that, I want to explore wide enterprise. You absolutely need to think deeply about what's going to make the best product experience for your customers. That's not just code it up and go with the first idea. You have to think through the option space and steer towards what you want.
Interviewer 3:33 ↗
That is critical. If you don't think about that as a system, if you don't use all the components you've standardized, you're not going to appear the same way to your customer throughout the entire user journey. It has to tie together with brand, product, point of view, marketing, and messaging. Just being in code is very linear. You might be running fast but towards the wrong direction.
Yeah. What's driving Figma Make growth? Is that the same archetype as the Figma user? Does it diverge? How are people using Figma Make and how are you thinking about growing that product?
Dylan Field 4:47 ↗
When you look at Figma Make, it's really cool to see how many non-designers are using it. That's something we've really picked up on. It's not just designers making amazing prototypes, but also folks coming in and making full working web apps and experiences. 60% of files created in Figma Make are non-designers at this point, which is amazing. That was a big part of the original Figma thesis – that there would be non-designers using the tool from day one. The TAM purely on product designers wouldn't be a business today.
Interviewer 5:39 ↗
I don't think you ever had designer right every day for a decade.
Dylan Field 5:44 ↗
Yeah. So, that's interesting. How do you think about the growth of that product in terms of adding plugins, features, hosting, deployment, uptime, edge distribution? It could grow into its own thing.
