Welcome everyone. It's great to be here at the largest Ethereum conference in Europe. ECC was my first conference, so it has a special place in my heart. I've been sharing the journey of Wallet Connect, and today I'll focus on where we are and where we're going. Wallet Connect is the connectivity layer between apps and wallets, bringing better user experience for wallets. My name is Pedro Gomez, founder of Wallet Connect and director of the Wallet Connect Foundation. Wallet Connect is now a decentralized network serving millions of users with millions of connections annually. Wallets are more than just keys; they are your onramp to onchain experiences. At Wallet Connect, we focus on security, reliability, and utility. We've been building since 2018 with 16 node operators, many wallet partners, and a staking ecosystem with WCT. Core value propositions: login, verification, signing, and payments. With Wallet Connect, you can use any of 600 wallets. We've improved login with Link Mode for mobile-to-mobile connections and one-click auth using the CASA standard for signing in with Ethereum in one click. Verification protects against phishing by validating domains and API keys. We've expanded to multi-chain: Ethereum, L2s, Solana, Bitcoin, Cosmos, Polkadot, Stellar, Hedera, and more. With Smart Sessions, we added programmability to wallet connections, allowing delegated permissions with time and spending limits, reducing pop-ups. Wallet Connect Pay enables paying with any token on any chain, abstracting chain complexity for DeFi, e-commerce, and everyday purchases. We launched the Certified program to highlight high-quality wallets using the latest features. Certified Season 2 puts new features into production with over 20 wallets. The Wallet Connect Council, composed of node operators, wallet partners, and core contributors, drives governance and innovation. We're expanding regionally in Thailand, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Brazil, Argentina.
