Urbanisierung, Digitalisierung, demografischer Wandel und Klimaveränderungen wirken sich auf unsere Gebäude und Städte aus. Wie können wir also planen, wenn die Welt sich rasant verändert und wir die Zukunft nur erahnen können? About Rainer Hüttenberger

At a Sto New Year’s event in January 2020, Rainer Hüttenberger identified four major drivers that he said would significantly influence cities, buildings, and daily life: climate change, migration, social inequality, and artificial intelligence. He stated that these drivers are closely interconnected, which he described as making it complex to develop strategies for the city or house of the future. Hüttenberger suggested that climate change should be viewed not as a threat but as a chance, and that cities would need to be redesigned as organic systems capable of handling heat, heavy rain, and drought. Hüttenberger also discussed trends affecting the company, citing digital transformation as a key focus. He said this includes digitizing internal processes and customer relationships. He noted a trend toward prefabricated wall and facade elements, which he attributed to a desire for greater productivity and quality control on construction sites. Despite the emphasis on digital tools, Hüttenberger stated that human relationships remain essential for long-term success with customers.

Who, as before, minor business partners? Agreements in the name of tax money for us? Someone brought a game into play.
In my view, there are four major drivers that will massively influence our cities and buildings and indeed our everyday lives: climate change, migration, social inequality, and artificial intelligence. All these four drivers are closely interconnected; they interact with each other, they feel like they are in alternating relationship, and that naturally makes it so complex to develop strategies for the city of the future or the house of the future.
What direction is it going? It will certainly be, on the one hand, that we must begin to see climate change not as a danger but as an opportunity. That means we will redesign our cities so that they are heat-resistant on the one hand, but also can store moisture during heavy rain or drought and release it again. That means we will actually have to conceive the city as an organic system. It is assumed that by the year 2100, nearly 85 percent of the world population will live in cities. That means the city - we are talking about the city of many. It will become crowded in the city, more people in the city, we need more apartments in the city, it will become denser. And here lies the great challenge: if we now transform the city and building construction, we must actually keep this scenario in mind. And there is a new construction zone for urban areas. In this zone, because demand requires it, you can build much longer, you can build denser, you can build higher, and what is crucial and most important: you can change the use - from living to working, from working to living. That requires that we actually need a hybrid construction for buildings. So our buildings will become hybrids. The era of classical typology is over. Long live the first.
Hello, for me it stands for first-class service, reliability, cleanliness. What can we do? And the common projects apply that for 35 years we believe, think, we see a lot with... So there is the possibility that Amazon, these special zones, you can simply try something out. I think a big problem is that you are allowed to make small mistakes, then a lawyer comes and expensive on the right side before post. You, as a product, are likeable, especially specialized in facades, also correct, very very good products. I know that you also make suggestions, flexibility and provide to customers.
The trends that are currently occupying us most are the topic of digital transformation, which ultimately also moves many of our customers, moves us even more. That means we have many initiatives running in our company, ranging from digitalization of internal processes to digitalization of relationships with our customers. That is one of the trends. And a second one is the topic of prefabricated wall elements, facade elements, as I had shown before, a trend that is slowly coming from North America to Europe, where products and solutions are produced in an industrial setting because you can be more productive there than on the construction site, and thus also eliminates problems such as quality difficulties or the problem of skilled workers who are not available. So when we work with our customers, we try to use digital solutions of course, but in the end it is the people who make the difference. It is especially important for Sto, and if we do not cultivate the relationship here, then in the long run we will not be successful with our target groups. So despite digitalization, we need these human aspects. CO2 topics are becoming increasingly important, we deal with sentences, or circular economy. That was also heard today. In plastic Grimma product salesman stolen? Exactly, grateful for the support, the technical support on site deceased.
Here you find you have very good products and our employees love to work with them and so on.
