Hello, I'm Tuğrul Arbaş. I worked at a single company in different countries around the world for 31 years until I retired. Moreover, for the last 16 years, I held a General Manager role, managing large teams and operations in Turkey and other countries. After retiring, I started my own business. You could say I went off the beaten path. In this series, I wanted to invite the brave names who have inspired and given me courage, whether I know them or am meeting them for the first time, and share their stories with you. Today's guest is a name I would point to as the best personal example in the world of the concepts of digital and transformation, which have been an indispensable topic at every conference for years. He transitioned from technology and digital leadership to becoming the head of one of the country's largest banks, transforming into a financial leader, and taking big and bold steps while taking the brand even higher. The General Manager of Türkiye İş Bankası, dear Hakan Aran. Hakan, welcome. How are you?
After the 100th anniversary celebrations of our Republic last year, this year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of İş Bankası with the same enthusiasm. I have trouble keeping up with the work you've done in the celebrations. Every month there are big conferences, concerts, or openings. Celebrating the 100th birthday of a bank that is the same age as the Republic has fallen to you. How do you feel? And what do you think the former employees, retirees, and customers might be feeling, thanks to these beautiful celebrations and the 100th birthday?
