I know it was, I know it was really, really hard to kind of get that thing finally set and done. I know there was a lot of a lot of just last minute happening, last minute changes and whatnot, but um I just want to know how you're how you're feeling going into it? It's kind of everything's pretty much I mean, is everything set and done? Is everything pretty much locked in? I know the card's locked in, but how's uh the whole planning and stuff going for the White House card?
Yeah, it's going good. My head of production, Craig Borsari, is literally basically living in DC now getting ready for this thing. We start loading in. We actually start loading in to the White House in in uh in May. So, oh my god. Start setting up in May. You know, normally like come here, you know, you start moving in a couple days before the event, right? Be moving in over a month ahead.
Do you know how how are you how are you guys going to do design? I heard rumors that people are going to walk out from the Oval Office. Do do you guys already have that? the design and how it'll work and
100% that's that's all laid out and done already. Actually, this weekend, this this fight this this Saturday will be the first look people will see what the South Lawn is going to look like.

But we'll have screens everywhere and you can just hang out and the weather's good. you just hang out in the park. We have concerts going on out there and activations with sponsors and um the WWE and all kinds of [__] It'll be fun. Lot of lot of fun. A lot of nice surprises. Um I saw Islam tweeted a couple days ago. He mentioned that um he's like, 'Finally, I'm going to start talking cuz I know Islam stays off social media.' Islam was saying that it was him and Ilia for the White House. Um and uh they were saying and Islam said that Ilia was the reason why it didn't happen cuz he asked for too much money. Um is there anything that you could talk about?
The there's a lot of Listen, a lot of [__] went on behind the scenes making this card, right? Um you know, the Jon Jones stuff that's been said, Ilia and Islam, and the list goes on and on. Basically what I had the matchmakers went out and laid out every fight that was a possibility and then I built the card and and decided who was going to fight and and the thing that mattered most to me a the fights had to mean something. What you know what do they what do they mean? Are they important in the division? and stylistically, how do we think the fights will be? But more importantly, who who can I count on and who did I know is going to show up, you know? So, here we are.
Here we are. Here we are. Well, it's uh Alex's first fight at heavyweight. I mean, he's he moves he moves uh up a lot and it's cool to see him compete for the belts. Um, you know, depending on how that fight goes, do you know what would would be next between the winner, whoever wins between uh Alex and Gane, who would uh fight next?
I don't know. You know, once it happens, we'll see how everything plays out after that. And um, you know, you know, this thing's like a [__] soap opera every week. You never know what's going to happen, how it's going to play out, who's going to be next. Um, you know.

Well, the the the biggest thing you got to learn is when you're getting your ass kicked, you just got you got to get up and and walk away for a while and Yeah.

Um, I I had a crazy story. We were at the Wynn in Boston and uh it was uh it was during the USA Canada hockey game that morning.

Yeah. And I got destroyed like this. And we literally said, 'Let's take a break.' The Wynn in Boston, that hotel has one of the nicest spas you'll ever see. So we went down there, cold plunged, saunaed, you know, watched the hockey game and then went back up and and in like 40 minutes I came all the way back and won. I was I was in town cuz I spoke at at Harvard Business School uh on a It was the It was the day that the snowstorm was about to hit there.
Oh [__] Literally, I had to be at Harvard at 1:00 to speak and uh literally came back just in time to get out of there, go to Harvard, speak and get the [__] out of there before the snowstorm hit. But the point is like Steve Steve will do it. We'll we'll get on these crazy binges, right? And he'll be at at Red Rock and he's calling me going, 'Hey, I need help with this.' I I'm like, 'Steve, go home. Go home. Yeah. Stop. Go sleep. Cold plunge. Go do You know, he sets the cold plunge up in there. No, that defeats the purpose. You got to leave there. You don't got You got to relax. You got to get You have to get out of there. Definitely go chill and then come back and, you know, fight another day.'
It's hard once he gets once he goes in, it's hard to get him out.
Yeah. No, I' I've seen it, too. And it's a reality for him. That's what I like about him, though. He's it's the truth about gambling, right? He doesn't like sell like a false narrative like Steve is like look like I'm in debt and I'm and I'm it's sucks and I'm hurting or you know like it's really good. Um, some people want to know about like the your health, your current health. How are you doing? Um, they want me to ask about your 7-day water fast and you know how's
I I learned about the the water fast from the 7-day thing. I saw a doctor talking about it and then I talked to Gary Brecka and Gary Brecka said, 'Don't do 7 days. Do 72 hours.'
It's it's it's weird that they just asked that. I just ran into a guy who was telling me uh he just started fasting cuz he had seen my video. And uh it it's life-changing, guys. You do a 72-hour water fast. The clarity that you get, the way that you feel um and it's really good for you to do, you know, a couple times a year.
Wow. I mean, what what is it? Um question because I I read this somewhere as well. I actually No, I was with GSP a couple days ago. He told me fasting also is essential. Whenever he would have like a I think it was a wound or any type of inflammation, he would always fast. I believe he also said he would fast for 72 hours and it would and it would cure that as well. But question, when you do fast, do you only do water and and how do you get the other nutrients that you're that you're lacking in though?
Yeah, I only do water, but I use the uh I I I do electrolytes. Electrolytes, you know, zero sugar, zero calories. If it's zero everything, you can uh you can do it while you're
Well, not like bone broth or you don't do any of that stuff.
Yeah, you can do the bone broth, too. But I don't do it. I don't do the bone broth. I like it better just absolute water and electrolytes that I'm telling you. Any of you I just saw this [__] guy uh on Instagram, too, who was saying uh you know, he was he was really heavy and and he fasted like a crazy amount of time. This guy did a nutty amount of time that he did it, but you know, now he's doing push-ups and completely changed his whole life. Fasting, I know it sounds crazy and and uh but you give it a shot. It's very addictive.
Wanted to also ask you cuz um have you heard about like I just saw you got a cool gym out there, huh?

Uh, hit or miss. I I I've been So, you know, I was hardcore when I met Gary Brecka. I was hardcore for like three years.
Yeah. And then I um you know, in the last 6 months, I've been eating whatever I want to eat.
Oh, seriously? So, it's it's a little on and off.
Yeah. But I still intermittent fast. Got it.
Like I don't eat breakfast and I don't eat lunch. So, you just only eat dinner once a day? How about a shake? Protein shake? No.
And do you take do you have some type of protocol? You take vitamins? You take Okay.
Yeah. I'm still on the Gary Brecka. I do all that. Still do the whole superhuman protocol in the morning when I wake up. I I work out.
And then I take all my supplements, but I'm not on any I used to be on doctor's meds. I'm not on any doctor's meds anymore. So, you know, we have the same opinion on that. I I believe that doctors, regular doctors, they just try to medicate you. They don't try to fix your problem. They just try to keep it so you keep coming back and you have to keep but they don't actually help you fix the issue.
I know you're big on that.
So if we ended up seeing a doctor, they'd put us both on the same medicine. You know what I mean? Gary Brecka's thing is what I'm deficient in, you're probably deficient in other things. So what he does is adds the stuff that you're deficient in with supplements.
How does that not make sense? It totally makes sense.
What about um cuz it's it's big in my world now. Like a lot of uh my generation, a lot of people are getting into peptides. Uh retatrutide, have you heard of that?
Um uh chat knows the other ones. I know BPC 157, but a lot of people my age now are all doing it. Like I'm telling you, but they're doing it. They're ordering it from these random websites. They're not doing blood work. They're really not doing it the right way, but a lot of people are doing it. And shout out to Clav. I feel like he's kind of like making it a trend in some ways. But um like what are your thoughts on like peptides and and that world? Yeah, I don't know enough about them to to to, you know, to to really talk about it, but you know, anybody that's on them is thrilled and loves them and feels better, especially older guys. Yeah. I I've only heard good things about them. I've never heard anything bad about them.

Well, what's funny is uh you know, as long as I've been doing this like 25 years, nobody really knows anything about the business. and and like I'll I'll watch these expert there's a bunch of m I don't watch any MMA.
And uh cuz it's all I mean every thing I see from these websites and guys who are supposed to be the guy it's all every thing they know nothing about the business. So I hate all that coming and recently it's been popping up in my feed. I don't know why. I got I got to get it the out of there. But uh um not many people know a lot about this business. It's it's it's pretty fascinating. But the truth is we're doing that has never been done before. Like even now getting you know we got boxing, UFC, Power Slap, and the jiu-jitsu business is doing really well, too. So Right. Right. Um you know, bringing all this together and and and running it like a business, it's never been done before.
Right. What are your especially with one group of people doing it?
No, for sure. What are your um what are your future like like what are some future goals you have with like Power Slap? I wonder where that's going to go. I wonder what you're going to do with that because you know it is it's genius. You know, it's it racks up millions of [__] views. It's viral.

And we just did a 5-year deal with the MGM. So
We're now with MGM for the next five years.
