Hello and welcome to the AI Impact Summit 2026. I am Bhavana Nair with you. India is the world's largest democracy and has become the world's fourth-largest economy. India is rapidly advancing in the field of AI and is also going to host the AI Impact Summit 2026. The way India has presented Aadhaar, UPI, and digital infrastructure as an example, and the world is looking at it today. Similarly, in the field of AI, India has now moved forward in the direction of standing as a digital public infrastructure and is also moving towards a developed India 2047. And at this time, a special guest has joined us. With us is the CEO and Co-founder of Fractal Analytics, Srikanth Velamakanni. Srikanth ji, a very warm welcome to DD News.
The first question to you, sir, is that India has set a global benchmark for digital public infrastructure through UPI and Aadhaar. Can AI also be built as an open, inclusive, and scalable public infrastructure in the same way, and what will be India's unique strength in this?
Absolutely, it can be done. The biggest success of India in Aadhaar and UPI is that it is available to every citizen, every Indian. If we build the next layer on top of that, which will be an intelligence layer. Just as we currently use Aadhaar for identity and UPI for payments, if AI-based services are available to every citizen, every Indian, not just in healthcare but in education and every government service is easily accessible. This is possible and absolutely feasible. And India's biggest advantage in this is that it can be made available to a population of 1.4 billion.
Along with this, I would also like to ask you that Fractal Analytics is playing a leading role in decision intelligence. What AI models or systems are you working on today? Especially, I have read that you are working in areas like maths, lifestyle, and health. Will we get to see any new AI solution or vision from Fractal at the AI Impact Summit 2026?
Absolutely. Fractal works in enterprise AI. It helps the world's largest companies to grow their business, stay relevant, and become more profitable, and to use algorithms and AI in their decisions. For India, we are participating in the India AI Mission. And here, our vision is to create a healthcare model for India that is available to all 1.4 billion citizens and becomes a new stack on top of UPI and Aadhaar. In such a way that, like you see e-Sanjeevani or Ayushman Bharat or Arogya Setu, India has created so many health stack elements. Can all these elements be combined and an intelligence layer be added on top so that every citizen, like before meeting a doctor or after meeting a doctor, using all these medical reports, these services can be made available easily and for free. This is our vision and we want to show this at the Impact Summit.
Absolutely. Along with this, we have seen that Fractal Analytics' IPO has also come. It is a strong signal that AI is now moving forward not just in technology but also in market share. How are you seeing the strength of AI in the capital market?
