About Martin Schroeter

In an October 1, 2026 appearance on Fox Business's "The Claman Countdown," Kyndryl CEO Martin Schroeter discussed the company's emphasis on artificial intelligence, citing a new global survey of 2,000 businesses. Schroeter said the survey revealed a disconnect, with nearly half of organizations reporting they are behind in technology upgrades and only 9 percent fully understanding how AI applications depend on one another. He described Kyndryl's role in helping customers move from pilots to scalable solutions, citing examples in Europe involving regulatory processes and a U.S. case where an Arizona DMV approved services delivered through a framework modernization effort. Schroeter also addressed Kyndryl's business model and financial performance, stating that since the company was spun out, it has "improved the profitability dramatically" and "stabilized the revenue base." He said the company delivers resiliency and security features for which it gets paid, and that as long as it creates compelling value propositions using AI, it will create value for customers and shareholders. He expressed confidence that the market will recognize the business model's strength over time.
