He is the most transparent president in the nation's history.
And I told you about that, attorney general, before you started.
You don't tell me.
Oh, I did tell you because we saw what you did in the Senate.
Lawyer, not even a lawyer. Wexner's name was added back within 40 minutes of me catching you red-handed.
Red hand. There was one redaction and we invited you in. This guy has Trump derangement syndrome.
Bye-bye, AG Pam Bondi. Obviously, she was playing to an audience of one and it wasn't enough. Why? Because he wants his enemies chased because he didn't want Epstein to be a problem for him and she couldn't make it happen. So, she's gone. But the Epstein problem remains. And so does the corruption. Reportedly, the president says Bondi is not doing enough prosecuting perceived political enemies. He's saying it. He's admitting it. Okay. He wanted more lawfare. Okay. Allegedly, they didn't like that. Representative Eric Swalwell found out about FBI plans to release the files on him. So, Bondi's out. Okay. 12 days away from being deposed over the Epstein files. I don't know that that should affect it. Her deputy, Trump's former lawyer, Todd Blanche, will be the acting AG. He is a very serious guy who is a very adept litigator. Here's a taste of the interview I did with him.
I'm blaming MAGA. They made this a boogeyman. They made this about a murder plot and about a human trafficking ring that involved all kinds of high-level people and everybody knew it and it had to come out and Trump would deliver. So that's where this is coming from. This is the law that this president signed and the criticism is, Todd, you guys are doing more to protect things than the law requires and what you are protecting are the wrong things. That what got redacted that shouldn't have been hurt survivors didn't help the cause of transparency.
So look, I mean trying to blame MAGA for what's happening now is incredible. I mean that is absolutely completely false. What's happening now is Democrats in Congress and some senators and a few Dem Republicans in Congress like Massie are making this their entire existence. Have you heard a single congressman since that initial week when they were all out there saying, 'We're redacting men's names.' Give you any information about a single potential criminal individual, famous person, politician, anybody that was redacted inappropriately? The answer to that is no. No. No.
All right, let's bring in somebody who understands the culture around this president and has keen insights on what's happening economically at home because of what's going on abroad. All right, you know him as the former White House communications director and the head of SkyBridge Capital, Mr. Anthony Scaramucci, it's good to see you. All the best for Easter. I wish you rebirth and renewal, but you're doing great and I'm happy to be here for it. Anthony, why do you think Bondi got the X?
Just not doing enough. And, first of all, happy Easter. But secondarily, you remember Jeff Sessions, when that special prosecutor got appointed, Trump went crazy, said repeatedly, said it to me in the 11 short days that I was in the White House, where's my Roy Cohn? And so, he was intent on getting a Roy Cohn. If you remember, Matt Gaetz was gonna be that Roy Cohn, but for some reason, Matt Gaetz got blocked up in the Senate. And I think he would have probably been a little bit more Rottweiler-like for Trump. And Pam Bondi did everything that she thought was appropriate, Chris. And that's the thing about Trump. You can, you know, redact him. You can screech to the Congress, speak to an audience of one. You can go after his adversaries where you can't even get a ham sandwich indicted like Tish James or somebody like James Comey or how about the chairman of the Federal Reserve Jerome Powell. You can't even get any evidence on them. You're going after them but it just isn't enough and it is never enough for Trump. You know when Trump and I started fighting I think I was supporting him on the Bill Maher show. Bill Maher said to me, 'Yeah, you were seven for eight for Trump. He's going to start lighting you up tonight. You got to go 13 for 10 for Donald Trump.' Remember I just two more quick messages. Crenshaw and Senator Cornyn, 99% of the time they voted for Donald Trump. In that 1% that they didn't, they both did not get Trump's endorsement in this upcoming election. And so that's Donald Trump. But I would just like to set the record straight. She lasted 39.7 Scaramucci. There's a lot of disinformation in social media. And I don't think that's fair to her. She didn't last 37. It was 39.7. And she deserves a gold watch for that, Chris, because that's a long time in a Trump administration.
Hey, let me tell you something. If her next chapter is a fraction of what yours has been, she'll wind up in a much better place. Now, I've been following what you've been saying about the economy and that the stresses that have been put on our economy and that the timing of what you saw around the speech was no coincidence. What did you see happening before that speech? What do you see happening here at home that gives you the gagarel, as we say in Italian, the nervous stomach?
Yeah. Well, I mean, listen, you did a wonderful job in the A block explaining what's going on. You know, the prices are up. Prices are up on everything. Some of it's tariff related, some of it's energy shock related. And some of it is what I call the vicious circle of recession expectations. So people look forward and say, 'Okay, this is going to get really bad for me.' They start saving, they consume less, and then it creates this vicious circle of deconsumption. And so all of that is happening at the same time. And so, you know, listen, he moved the goalpost on everybody. He said he was running on affordability, no more forever wars. He went in the exact opposite direction. So the near-term for the economy is quite bad. And by the way, Chris, his Federal Reserve appointees, okay? They sided with Jerome Powell on interest rate bias in the minutes last week. They're all looking at the economic data and they're saying, 'Oh my god, we're heading for stagflation.' What does that mean, stagflation? High inflation with unemployment numbers also rising. You typically don't get that in an economy like ours, but we got that in the 1970s and we feel like we're going to be getting that right now. So, you have to brace yourself for a correction in the economy, likely a deeper correction in the stock market and a surge in oil prices. And I think, you know, listen, the setup for the president's speech was, and I don't like the word stone age, by the way. We can talk about that. As a humanitarian who is a Catholic and believes in Easter like you, you don't say you're going to bomb 90 million people into the stone age when you're the leader of the free world. Inappropriate comment, but he's trying to tell people that he has to soften this up for ground troops. So, I have it at 55-60% he's going to put ground troops in there. And then we'll have to see what happens once the ground troops are in there in terms of where the Strait of Hormuz is or where the oil is going to flow. You know, one of the big issues is obviously 40 to 50% of that oil flows to China. And he's going to slow down their economy as well if those ground troops go in.
