Well, the reason this episode was a little different, right? The reason it was a little strange...
Happy Super Bowl, guys. Clinton Jaws, please like this video. It's the only thing I care about. I should probably shouldn't be doing a video right now. You're obviously watching the Super Bowl. What's my prediction? My team is Seahawks. I love the Seahawks. I've been there six times. I've watched them play, which means they're not going to win because it's my team and my team never wins. I hope they do. That's my prediction. They're supposed to win, but my prediction is that they're not going to. This has to be the worst time to post a video, but I'm doing it anyways.
Andrew Wilson, one of the best podcasts I've seen. He goes on Joe Rogan and they make fun of Piers Morgan, like really badly. And then Andrew Wilson goes on to Piers Morgan afterwards and Piers confronts him. We're making it light because it's Super Bowl weekend. What I found fascinating is after the podcast, Andrew Wilson kind of talked about it and this is what he says.
Well, the reason this episode was a little different, right? The reason it was a little strange, we went in, we sat down and we were talking about something completely unrelated to I think what we both wanted to discuss on the episode. And then we were just bullshitting and he came over and he sat down with a cigar and we were just talking and this and that and then I think both of us kind of realized the cameras were rolling at some point. So that whole like first 20 minutes, the reason there was no intro or any of that, I don't think either of us really knew that we were doing the show just then. That was really just us bullshitting, really. That's why it looked, that's why it was so kind of like such a strange intro because we were already slipping into good conversation and they just kind of didn't want it to stop so we just kept going. I was like, can I smoke in here? He says yeah. Like Andrew Dice Clay really used that privilege and I was like, you ain't seen nothing yet. Said you ain't seen nothing yet. And he ain't give a [__] didn't care at all. And that was one of the best parts of it. Totally at ease. I was like, yeah, I didn't worry about running out having to smoke. So, we just sat down, shot the breeze. And that's the thing about it, right, is that that's what it was. It was like catching up with an old friend. It's what it felt like. I genuinely liked the guy.
And what they did in the first 20 minutes of their podcast was make fun of Candace Owens. Andrew basically predicts her failure.
I don't know. You got Candace's number. We can ask her.
Candace is getting dragged on Twitter today because she's like, I've lived in Connecticut. I've never seen this much ice on trees and it's 30 degrees out. And everybody's like, yeah, 30 is freezing.
Yeah. Yeah. It's so funny. Ice on trees. Like, do you see all the Miss Cleo memes?
It's so funny. Cleo, you remember? You don't remember the Miss Cleo? Yeah, the psychic. They keep on putting the Miss Cleo memes out for Candace because she's a psychic, you know.
Well, Candace has painted herself into a weird corner where everything has to be a wild conspiracy. Like, it has to be Bridget McCrone's a man, Erica Kirk killed Charlie. It has to like one up the last one, you know.
Yeah. It's really funny. He came to the same conclusion that I did. So, it's like I've seen those conspiracy channels come up before and then they crash out. And the reason is because like for her, I think she was involved with this, right? She was involved intricately with Kirk. She knew him. And so that gave a lot of credibility to a lot of the things that she was saying. But then once you start moving back into like Mandela effect stuff and time travel and this and that. Yeah. People are like, ah.
I mean you could do that if you're that guy. If you're Art Bell, you know.
Well, you know, but Bell, I remember I used to listen to Bell all the time. I thought it was interesting. I wanted to share that with you about Candace. Oh my god. Candace, what are you doing? I was such a big fan. Come on, get it together. Right here. They talk about Piers Morgan.
I remember you were having a conversation. I think it was on Piers Morgan, who is the best cat wrangler in the business.
That's what he does. He cat wrangles.
Yeah, I just talked to him briefly.
Well, that's what I asked him. I just sent him a DM and I was like, hey, for people who don't know, he fell.
Yeah, he fell and really... And it was the hip. And at his age, the hip, you know, you don't want to... Nothing with the hip. Every time I see anybody who's 60s, they get the hip injury, it's bad.
Yeah. It's not good. I think they think your lifespan post hip surgery is like 10 years.
Yeah. It's wrong. And that he'll probably be better than that.
He will. And I think he's mobile.
Oh, that's good. He's mobile, but we're really good at hip replacements now.
I was like, what's, you know, are you doing? He's like, yeah, you know, I'm doing okay. And I was like, don't mess around with the hips, dude. It's crazy that he had to have a hip replacement. Like, how bad was that fall?
Uh, yeah. I don't know. I don't know what the details of it were, but it fell like a sack of spuds, he wrote. Wound up needing a new hip after fracturing the neck of his femur and is recovering from surgery in addition to being on crutches for 6 weeks. He won't be allowed to take any long-haul flights for at least 12 weeks. He tripped on a small step inside a London restaurant in the tumble. You think he was drunk? He could have been a little fired up.
