Welcome to some extent sites. Other places. It's a very great, great time, happy time of our country. The first time of our country. We'll be doing some other work in the health sector there. And also we want to see on the agriculture side. I won't spend time to respond to each of the issues Sovereign has raised. For non-royals, you all recall this. And then our Prime Minister Sovereign, so many titles. Yes. The former leader. So, we are grateful, Your Majesty, that Sovereign has raised these issues of development, education, infrastructure are very important. Obviously, the common issues of our time. Many of them. We like to simply say let us share at least, Prime Minister. Of the issues you raised, some we are familiar with. In fact, almost all of them. This is one of the better details that we covered today. So that my team, let me call it our team. Our team composes through Your Majesty and the nation through Sovereign's leadership, your leadership delegated to Sovereign here, and our team can look into these issues properly because they require decent time. So, when I say our team, I mean the team from here, the team from the central government, which will incorporate the local government, central, local, and then working with the VRI. So, a small team I think is the right way to go. You all let us know through Your Majesty. Sovereign, let us know other stuff that you like to look at. Know that he's diligent. I must be grateful to you, Your Majesty, that you are a man of his age who is so diligent and can walk through these issues in an organized way. The most great is your commitment through him to the partnership that we have which this government wants to strengthen when he talks about the relationship and long-term issues between the VRI and the central government. And we're very happy with that. That understanding of how things must work. And we will make sure that we walk through the issues that Prime Minister has raised.
I want to also indicate to you because I should, Your Majesty, that the issue of chiefs that he's raised, we are very much alike with. Our job is to support harmony in Barotseland here, in Western Province here, as is the case in the nine other provinces of our beloved country. And the 40 ethnic groups of the 72, 73 must be a source of pride to all of us rather than a source of division. And on the level of languages, and it's a beautiful language. Want to understand Kwangwa. Our Litela, our Subiya, our Mbo, our Nkoya, all of them that are more on. We really look at this problem. We are one. So, these must be a source of pride to us and not a source of conflict. This president and this government, there is a premium, huge premium on unity for development. Unity is important. So, we will be happy to work with the VRI through Your Majesty to walk through these challenges. Society always has challenges. It's the nature of society. Even in a family, we always have challenges. And then we walk through them. Let me not belabor the point shared in this part. On the issue of education, Your Majesty, this time, this president placed a premium on investment in education. And the total package of investment is not just free education, which has brought 2.5 million children back to school. It is employment of more teachers. It is more classroom space. It is water and sanitation. It is the desks. It is the curricula. Water. Competence-based curriculum. I had the issue of the curriculum. Curriculum is competence-based curriculum. Happy you know you are conscious of the changes that are being made. It's a package now competing top because absenteeism was one thing we picked up. Issue of examination fees, Your Majesty. No point to give free education, but the exam time comes, the kid doesn't write exam because the parents have no money to pay the exam fees. It will be taken to the new board. The government is taking that. So, boarding schools is important. I hope I am not wrong. I think at some points, St. John's, Sekula, and others were boarding schools. It was a mistake to remove boarding schools. I thought I wanted to. We look into that issue. I want you to know, Your Majesty, these five other provinces of our country, and we will address them as an issue. That's our duty. We elected to do what? Let me also reinforce the point I made in Sovereign. I like us to find closure to this meeting so that we can attend to other functions. But people within the periphery for some time. Very excited today. For me. I am Sovereign here. And all the pro-programs that we're going to use include my beloved village, Kalambo Village. It started just in the corner there. The headman there for farming land. I will say that. And I figured out what to do with that land. I remember consulting Your Majesty. I came here to ask for your permission. You granted me the permission to do the. Very happy person today as you see me today. Ordinary citizens of ours who are promoting the health sector today. The point that I was going to make in my last comment to enforce the message that we delivered to Sovereign. I know the message I delivered that with the boarding issues, this investment we're making in education, you will see some improvements. Barotseland will see them. As I know that this will happen across the country. Last year, we achieved the highest passing in government schools in certificate. Last year. The results are beginning to show. The issue is for this region of Western to be part of the package, be part of the list of the meetings that are beginning to see. So, I'm confident about that. But, what do you do to a young fellow who is in grade 12 from circular province from province to Polokwane once they completed their problem now from five from six they have to look for a university place in another province. This president, Your Majesty, determined. There's a Minister of Finance. President has already decreed. We have done your. The Minister of Finance will do his job. Minister of Infrastructure will do his job. The Minister of Agriculture that there shall be a university, public university here completed in our announcement that made that six provinces, Your Majesty, that for some reason this country did not, you know, deliver public universities. Western here, Northwestern, Southern province, Mpumalanga, Northern province and Eastern province. Practically means that banana will have to move, dislocate, relocate. That alone is sufficient disruption to someone who is studying. The environment where you are to continue with your normal life. So, I want to call me public, Your Majesty, with my straight face that there shall be a function of public university here. I directed the Minister of Finance to start budgeting from the next. We also are looking at the other innovative, the innovative ways of making these projects move at the same time outside the box. We do it. Things are done because people have decided so. And they walk the talk. So, Sopa, I want you to come. Bulo's and become that Bulo's you must be committed to working with government to actualize this project including the issue of boarding schools. The Minister of Education I know there are nothing boarding schools under construction right now here in this region. And the president is insisting, Your Majesty, I'm insisting that there must be boarding facilities where there are none work program to add the boarding facilities. Answer. That's what we did in the university. I think here we have no problem. I believe it's the Oneica University. I'm sure, Your Majesty. Is that the correct position? King Goodwill. Is that the one? That's the one. And yes, where some works have been started. Am I right? They are almost complete. So, Your Majesty, that is part of the priorities we should have that we work in this province for central government and the here. I think I want to close by saying that this government also has taken a decision to drive provision regional economic development with regional economics. So, the issues you raised in the six square become issues market issues all of us. I will not do because we work through them and no financial will be made. I think I want to end here and say I would have asked my ministers to tell them Corona did it. But in this process of working together the empty ministers responsible for this functions. The mayor I was telling the mayor right at the airport that we sent the money for compensation. I want the government to get on that. Even the way we are acting now with the airport. Someone could put a fire there, you know, so we want to pay Bulo salary. And we lost time here because it took us time. Your Majesty clean up decisions. Corona. Namakupa, Your Majesty. And the Prime Minister. In our partnership we need to make decisions. We are slow in making. When we plan to work on this airport we did it at the same time with Kasama Airport. Kasama Airport is beautiful finished. But here we were, you know, I know the system. And as well as there's a lot of consultation but we must find an expeditious way of consulting and making decisions. It's not a secret. I've said this to His Majesty. I've said this to Sopa. We've been at community council. I'm on it. That's why I'm on the matter. Let's get on with the job. And lastly just to encourage this spirit of cooperation. I want to encourage this spirit. This is the right spirit. And you will see you will see the benefits for our people here in Western in other provinces. The message for His Majesty you know what the right thing is. I stand down so proceed. Your Majesty. You know my staff we have been making this point for a long time. I suggested that we had we had a small team to work on this. We need to address the land tenure issue. And our Marula people needs to come to the point where they understand that without land tenure being dealt with one way or another. It's very important that we understand that this province is so rich. I know why I'm sitting here. Nazir. Because you elected me to put me in that office which handles mineral resources. My concern is that how are we going to exploit these minerals? Okay? Honorable Minister, Minister President Ramaphosa. How are we going to bring about quickly into big investments? Where we sit now we can't. But we need to work together. Your Majesties. Thank you very much. So good for raising that. Let's break for a small tea. Thank you very much. Can we have some tea?
