Sandra Campos, a four-time CEO and board member, has spoken extensively about leadership transitions, entrepreneurship, and the state of the retail industry. In a September 2025 appearance, Campos discussed the challenges of scaling a business, stating that at different stages, companies require different types of leaders, from "wear 15 hats" entrepreneurs to specialists who can help an organization scale. She described the CEO role as a partnership in building for the future, saying it is "never one to take away" but rather "to enhance." In an August 2025 interview, Campos advised early-stage founders on hiring, emphasizing the importance of meeting potential candidates and assessing whether they can help with specific needs such as international growth, wholesale relationships, or raising capital.
