The deal doubled Claude Code's five-hour rate limits for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise customers, and ended peak-hours throttling on Pro and Max accounts. 🤖 The Future of AI Agents & Work Dario described a progression from single agents to multiple agents to whole organizational intelligence — from "a team of smart people in a room" to what he called "a country of geniuses in the data center." He reiterated his prediction that 2026 could see the first billion-dollar company run by a single person. 💼 AI's Impact on Jobs Dario addressed the elephant in the room: AI's effect on employment. He has been outspoken about AI potentially eliminating half of entry-level white-collar jobs and has called for companies and government to stop "sugar-coating" the disruption ahead, while also pushing for policy preparation and worker education. 🔬 AI Hallucinations & AGI At a press briefing during the conference, Dario argued that AI hallucinations are not a hard blocker on the path to AGI, claiming "AI models probably hallucinate less than humans, but they hallucinate in more surprising ways." He noted he saw "no hard blocks" on what AI can do and described steady progress toward AGI. 🏢 Enterprise Adoption at Scale The conference showcased companies already operating at massive scale: Mercado Libre has 23,000 engineers running Claude Code and is targeting 90% autonomous coding by Q3 2026, and Shopify has deployed Claude Code across engineering, design, product, and data science teams.
