Franz Von Holzhausen, Tesla's chief designer, participated in a remote interview at the Tesla Takeover event in Flachau, Austria on June 5, 2026. During the interview, he discussed the discontinuation of the Model S and Model X, stating that the company had handed over the last vehicles two weeks prior, ending 14 years of production. He described the Model S as looking "extremely modern and relevant on the road today."
