DeFi is where you should be. There's AOL and then there was the open internet. Ledger represents security and self-custody in the open internet.

And for us, it's the same thing. If you need to move assets across chains, you as a user must be the only one in control, not a centralized intermediary.
What you guys did with the Solana edition Ledger Flex and the airdrop was incredible. It offset the cost of the device by more than 50% in one day. That was really cool, thank you.
Ian, welcome to ZR Talks episode 7. Really excited to have you here.

Lucky seven.
Host 1:32 ↗
Lucky number seven. We are 10T, an investor in Ledger and co-founders of Zenrock. Nothing is financial advice. You've had a successful career across multiple industries.
Ian Rogers 1:59 ↗
I never intended to have a career. When someone says that, I think, 'I did? Wow, it was an accident.'
Host 2:06 ↗
Your career spans music, luxury, fashion, and now crypto. For listeners who don't know you, give us some background.
Ian Rogers 2:18 ↗
I grew up in Indiana, started programming at 8, studied computer science, graduated in 1994. Instead of Silicon Valley, I joined the Beastie Boys' label. I did digital music for 20 years – Winamp, Yahoo Music, Beats Music, then Apple Music. After that, I became Chief Digital Officer at LVMH. That led me to crypto through Pascal Gauthier and Tony Fadell. In 2020, I joined Ledger. I see Ledger as the Cisco of crypto – as long as digital ownership grows, Ledger will be essential. Our brand stands for security and trust. We've evolved from cold storage to active services like buy, swap, stake, and credit cards. Security at the point of transaction, clear signing on a secure element, is unique. We're also expanding into passkeys, proof of humanity, and encrypted preferences with the Ledger Keyring protocol.
Host 15:55 ↗
Absolutely. Coming up on five years now? Timing is everything. One thing that fascinates me about Ledger is the brand. How do you see Ledger's brand making an impact as traditional finance flows into crypto?
