I thank President Lee Jae-myung for creating this valuable opportunity here in Silicon Valley and San Francisco, the heart of innovation. Welcome to the global business leaders who have joined us. Whenever I visit Silicon Valley recently, I am amazed at the speed at which AI is changing our lives and the world. It shows how different a future will unfold before us depending on how we develop and utilize AI. The way humanity works, thinks, and lives is being fundamentally changed. But the AI era cannot be opened by the power of any single company or country alone. It is essential to build a perfect ecosystem from innovative AI models and cutting-edge semiconductors to data centers for stable services and abundant power, as well as global cooperation beyond borders. The United States has the world's best AI source technologies, platforms, and outstanding talent. South Korea has unrivaled competitiveness in semiconductors and advanced device manufacturing. If these strengths of the two countries are combined, we will be able to innovate faster, grow bigger, and solve more difficult problems. Samsung has practiced management that contributes to human society through technology. Going forward, we will continue to innovate for AI that is safe and enriches human life, in step with the global community. I recall the president's autobiography about how, when he was in elementary school in a remote rural area 50 years ago, he felt awe and dreamed of the future while touching a helicopter that landed on the playground. Just as the boy who saw a helicopter for the first time that day dreamed of the future, Samsung will do its utmost so that the next generation living in the AI era can enjoy even greater dreams. Thank you.

AI, hello! Yes, thank you. Can you hear me? President, I heard your vision. I listened well to the vision of AI and the remarks on AI sovereignty. I would like to share my humble opinion. I am not a technology expert. I am a businessman. As someone who has come to run the world's largest company and is doing business, I think I have been very lucky to be able to do this business. So if you ask what your vision is and what your or my vision is, I think it needs to be very bold and operated with inspiration.
And this vision must be accurate. It must be an accurate vision for the world, and what we want to do must also be clear. So I think Korea should be built as a country centered on AI in the future. I am in favor of this vision for Korea to develop as an AI hub over the next 10 to 20 years. Let me talk about Broadcom. I remember many friends and partners who worked with Korea. Over the past 20 years, while running Broadcom, I have learned many things over a long time. And by cooperating a lot with Korean people, I was able to learn about Koreans, Korean culture, and Korean innovation. The wonderful people have created a wonderful culture.
Also, through large corporations, they have provided momentum and created new innovations. In addition, people with excellent education and engineers with entrepreneurial spirit have been diligently leading this development while receiving excellent education. Therefore, I believe your vision will succeed. Broadcom will continue to commit to innovating together to achieve Korea's AI sovereignty vision. I will support you in achieving that vision. This is not just for you, but for the whole world. I think we can now lead Korea's vision in three ways.
We will actively cooperate to jointly develop Korea's frontier model. We will make this a customized AI computing accelerator, and also optimize computing performance and enable affordable computation. Through close cooperation, we will continue the success of your memory companies and build Korea's semiconductor ecosystem. Building sovereign AI infrastructure is also very important. So today, I will also sign an MOU with Samsung Electronics and Chairman Lee Jae-yong. And my other colleague here is also here. We will expand everything. Our expansion naturally continues and spreads. Memory leaders will join us. So that will not only increase Korea's power but also accelerate the power of the global AI industry. Within this, you will utilize your AI sovereignty vision. Taking Samsung as an example, combining all this and through end-to-end cooperation, let's increase our impact and build next-generation AI infrastructure together.
Going forward, we will continue to cooperate, invest, and together as partners create next-generation AI and high-performance AI solutions with Samsung. Not just accelerators, not just networking, but Broadcom, although Broadcom is a global leader, beyond these, ultimately, by doing so, we will achieve more progress. We will strengthen our impact together with you, and Sam Altman is also sitting here, but we will create an AI ecosystem with everyone. This includes both hardware and software, and it is transforming into a company in the US and elsewhere. By utilizing, nurturing, and transferring domestic talent, we are confident that Korea will continue to be an important hub and continue to create a global AI journey in the future. These things will continue. Thank you.
