Anand Mahindra opened the 80th AGM with a call to accelerate strategically amid global uncertainty, describing the moment as an 'attack mode' after navigating a period of churning. He credited India's resilience and growing role in global manufacturing, noting that roughly a quarter of iPhones are now made in India. For Mahindra, he highlighted record results, patents rising from 56 to over 1,300 in a decade, and a prospective investment of 15,000 crores over 10 years in Nagpur. He framed the company's ambition to be among the world's top 50 most admired brands within a decade. Mahindra emphasized the need to be 'multi-aligned' rather than non-aligned, positioning India as a 'connector economy'. He concluded by inviting shareholder questions but noted responses would follow in the coming days.

There are no algorithms here. There are no set strategies that you follow and get complete outcomes. It's about people. It's about you. It's about what you set for yourself, what targets you stretch for yourself to achieve. And then last year, as all of you know, we created an even more outrageous ambition, more outrageous aspiration, that in the next 10 years we would be one of the top 50 most admired brands in the world. Still sounds almost surreal, but that's where we want to be.
