Justin Sun, founder of TRON, spoke at Conviction Vietnam about the convergence of DeFi, TradFi, and AI, positioning TRON as the infrastructure for this shift. He cited key metrics: over 396 million user accounts, $26 billion in TVL, 12 million daily transactions, 4.8 million daily active accounts, and $23 billion in average daily transfer volume. TRON generated $3.4 billion in protocol revenue in 2025, and its card volume share rose from 33% to 34% in Q2 2026. USDT supply on TRON hit an all-time high of $90 billion, and USDD surpassed $1.5 billion supply. TRON was added to the S&P Digital Asset Index, and post-quantum signatures were activated on the Nile testnet. Sun highlighted BAI (2 million users) and Bank of AI for AI agent transactions, and expanded university collaborations.

Hi everyone, I'm Justin Sun, founder of TRON. It's great to be joining Conviction Vietnam and to connect with so many builders, developers, institutions, investors, and innovators. Thank you for the invitation. Today I want to talk about something I believe will shape the next decade of this industry: the convergence of DeFi, TradFi, and AI, and the role TRON can play in connecting them. Vietnam is an especially important place for this conversation. Vietnam has been one of the world's strongest markets for crypto adoption since the early days of the industry, with a very active community helping drive the space forward. Until recently, DeFi, TradFi, and AI were largely viewed as separate areas of innovation, each developing within its own ecosystem. That separation is now beginning to fade as these technologies converge and become more deeply connected. These systems are beginning to overlap, and the networks that can connect them efficiently, securely, and at scale will become the infrastructure for the next generation of finance. That is exactly the direction TRON has been building toward.
Today, TRON supports more than 396 million user accounts on the blockchain and over 26 billion in TVL. On average, the network processes around 12 million transactions per day with more than 4.8 million daily active accounts and average daily transfer volume exceeding $23 billion. In 2025, TRON Network has generated over $3.4 billion in protocol revenue. Crypto payments are also growing very quickly in the crypto industry. Card volumes increased from $2 billion in Q1 to $2.4 billion in Q2 2026, and TRON continues to lead the market with its share rising from 33 to 34%, the highest of any blockchain. It's another sign that TRON is becoming a key payment rail for everyday transactions, especially merchant payments made through Visa-linked stablecoin cards. Additionally, TRON is the number one blockchain for USDT total transaction volume and daily active users. Recently, the USDT supply on TRON reached an all-time high at over 90 billion. USDD is another stablecoin that is growing in use and is built to operate in a fully decentralized way. The total supply of USDD surpassed $1.5 billion USD with over $2 billion in protocol TVL across TRON, Ethereum, and BNB networks.
Most recently, TRON became one of the top protocols included in the S&P Digital Asset Index. The index applies a methodology centered on protocol utility, on-chain liquidity, and network activity. This is a meaningful milestone because this is one of the clearest signs to date that established financial market frameworks are being extended to digital assets, applying benchmark methodologies traditionally used across equities and other asset classes to blockchain networks. All of this progress is further supported by a broad ecosystem. New integrations and collaborations across TRON continue to expand, including the Agentic AI Foundation, the Linux Foundation, Mastercard, MetaMask, Securitize, Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Base, Backpack, Eco, Coresky, Kraken, Moon, Chainlink, and many others. TRON is also continuing to focus on the long-term resilience of the network. Most recently, post-quantum signature support was activated on the Nile testnet, making TRON one of the first major public blockchains to introduce NIST-standardized quantum-resistant signatures at the protocol level.
And as AI becomes more common in everyday technology, the amount of machine-driven economic activity will grow quickly. AI agents will transact. They will settle payments. They will execute smart contracts. They will interact autonomously with financial systems. And when that happens, they will need a network that can handle high-frequency machine-driven activity without friction. That is where blockchain becomes essential. To support this activity, we need infrastructure that is fast, reliable, and globally accessible. TRON is an ideal environment for those activities. This is also the thinking behind BAI, an infrastructure leveraging the TRON blockchain that gives AI agents their own identities and the ability to transact independently. BAI recently surpassed 2 million users. Alongside BAI, there is also Bank of AI in the TRON ecosystem. This is a financial infrastructure layer that allows AI agents to execute on-chain payments, identity verification, and DeFi interactions on the TRON network and BNB Chain. Together, these developments reflect a broader focus on building an ecosystem that is growing today while also preparing for where the industry is heading next.
Finally, as blockchain and AI technology continues to advance, TRON DAO remains committed to cultivating new talent, promoting collaboration, and broadening access to blockchain education. Technology evolves quickly, but it is the people behind it who shape its future. TRON has expanded collaborations with blockchain clubs at Stanford, Columbia, Harvard, and Dartmouth, building on TRON Academy's university network that includes MIT, Princeton, Yale, Imperial College London, Cornell, and UC Berkeley. Through these collaborations, the goal is to give students the tools, mentorship, and opportunities needed to build the next generation of decentralized applications. That is the direction TRON is heading: infrastructure that connects DeFi, TradFi, and AI not as three separate systems, but as parts of one connected financial ecosystem. TRON's mission is to keep building that foundation by connecting digital assets with traditional markets, supporting developers, institutions, and people, and preparing for a future where AI agents can become active participants in the global economy. But that future will not be built by one company, one network, or one part of the industry. It will take collaboration across developers, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and regulators. That is why gatherings like this matter, because they bring together the people shaping what comes next. Thank you.
