Exiger CEO Brandon Daniels on Fox News: Why America Must Lead the AI Race Responsibly

📅 Oct 06, 2026 Exiger 10 MIN 2 VIEWS 20 SEGMENTS · 3 SPEAKERS
In this Fox News interview with Lara Trump, Exiger CEO Brandon Daniels shares insights from inside the White House meeting with technology leaders and discusses how the U.S. can lead in superintelligence while keeping AI safe, secure, and accountable. Daniels explains why responsible AI requires more than innovation alone. He discusses the need for self-regulation, external auditors, and controls built into the tooling around AI models, including the “three Cs” of AI risk: cost, compute, and cyberspace. He also explores why AI leadership is a national security issue, how companies can move q...

Brandon Daniels, CEO of Exiger, discussed his participation in a three-hour White House meeting with President Trump and other technology leaders on super intelligence. He said the meeting was collaborative and that attendees agreed on superseding principles drafted by Mark Zuckerberg and Jensen Huang, covering system modernization, earning over running costs, and preventing compute overruns. Daniels emphasized self-regulation over government regulation, which he estimated would take two years, and supports external auditors. He addressed Dario Amodei's concerns about AI loops and misuse, arguing that innovation and safety can coexist. Daniels downplayed doomsday risks, instead highlighting job displacement and the need for retraining, warning that slowing innovation would lead to job losses and China overtaking the US.

Key takeaways

  1. The White House meeting lasted three hours and produced superseding principles on super intelligence that would have taken a decade to regulate.
  2. Daniels supports self-regulation with external auditors who understand the technology, instead of waiting for government regulation.
  3. He argues the existential threat is not doomsday but breadlines: job losses and falling behind China if the US slows innovation.
  4. Daniels believes the industry should spend part of its hundreds of billions in revenue on external auditors to ensure safety.

Here on "Life, Liberty & Levin."
That evening. Hope you're having a great Saturday night. Welcome back to "My View." But like it or not, artificial intelligence — or rather, super intelligence — is moving faster than ever. Thankfully, American companies are leading the way. This week, we saw an unprecedented gathering of those tech titans at the White House to discuss where the industry goes next.

And we are going to lead. We will keep our lead. It's a positive. It's an amazing industry, and there are those who say it's bigger than the industrial revolution. But this is a group that loves local communities, and they love our country.

We know some have called for a government-mandated slowdown in the name of safety, but with China at our heels, the president is calling on the private sector to self-police. After closed-door dialogue, industry leaders signed a formal accord deal.
One of those executives sitting at the table was Brandon Daniels, CEO of Exiger, whose company helps Fortune 500 businesses and government agencies use AI to strengthen supply chains and to protect national security. We caught up earlier to get insights from inside that meeting room and to learn his take on the risks and rewards, still ahead.
Brandon, welcome to the show. You were in the room with President Trump and so many other AI — or rather, super intelligence — leaders, and everyone expected fireworks because some of those CEOs have different views. Instead, you have described a meeting as surprisingly collaborative, even executives exchanging cell phone numbers. Tell us about it and what surprised you.

First, thank you for having me on, Lara. This is such an important topic. The meeting — first of all, one of the things that folks don't know is the meeting itself was three hours, so we had a lot of time together. The president had convened the biggest minds in technology to sit down for three hours to talk about how we can lead the world with super intelligence, and how we can ensure safety and reliability and scalability with super intelligence.
And how we can self-regulate, because regulation — let's be honest — if we are waiting for regulation, we might be two years out. Two years is a lifetime for us in super intelligence. So the first thing was that it was three hours. The second thing is everyone came to the meeting with this set of principles that were put together by Zuckerberg and Jensen, that we all agreed we needed to agree with. These were superseding principles that we said, yes, we have to build systems that are modern, and they call it the three...
Lara, making sure they earn over running costs, and making sure they are not overrunning on compute in cyberspace, because if any of those three things happened, you got a model that could be in trouble. We have got to have surge protectors that stop us from having an event and get the systems right.
And the next thing was brilliant. The president and then the vice president did as well. We need to have the external auditors, and those auditors are people that understand the technology. The president put out a process that in three hours we were able to agree to superseding principles that, to regulate, may have taken a decade.
