Posted a video the other night about how February is the dumbest month. The spelling of February is the dumbest of every other month. Makes no sense, right?
Wednesday is that day the dumbest spelling. The only time Wednesday really works for me is when we're talking about Wednesday Addams. W's day. Who the [__] was the committee in charge of that dumb [__]? Let's spell it wedness day. Who talk? What? Who are these people anyway?
Hi kids. Uh, let me adjust my community moderation, make sure that only subscribers can comment because you know how the kids get. Um, it is a winter wonderland here in, uh, on what is it? Is today the 12th of February? I see.
Um, I'm getting alerts. Are you news junkies out there just getting a phone alert? Explosions over the last three weeks. It's too much. You really got to... I mean, that's the whole thing. That's the whole point, um, is to just flood the zone of [__] and wear everyone down.
I'm guessing though they really can't keep up the momentum. I mean, we're not talking about an army of athletes on team Trump here. Um, you know, in terms of stamina, long game, like these guys are... this is a sprint, not a marathon, I'm guessing. So I think this, it's got to wind down at some point.
But it was... look at this guy in the bike. I mean, he's really doing it. Badass. Badass. I don't have it in me to ride a bike in this kind of weather. I don't. I mean, well, that's not true. I've been known to do it, but God, below 40 degrees, it's tough on Georgie here.
Um, but it is beautiful. Look at this. I mean, it's really quite lovely, the setting. It's nice, isn't it, when we have a fresh blanket of white snow? You know, I love it here.
Um, tighten up the scarf. This scarf, I've talked about it before. I love this scarf. I bought the scarf at H&M, I think, 10 years ago. Still kicking. So you think like this fast fashion [__], you want to wear it for a season or like not even a whole season and toss it? That's stupid.
Um, I love the fact that this is an H&M scarf, 100% wool, and it hasn't done me dirty. It's kept me warm. I love the colorways in it. It's cute, right? Um, yeah, unfortunately I can't turn off alerts based on what I do. Yeah, I heard about Telsey Gabard, whatever. I mean, look, you know, here's the...
What Scott Galloway, our, my friend and yours, Scott Galloway, made an observation this week that was really based on Mel Robbins' observation, which is the title of her book, Let Them. Meaning, you know, these people voted for this. People voted for this [__]. You know, he really is political syphilis.
Um, so people voted for political syphilis and they want to, you know, this cult wants to burn it all down, dismantle the government, the evil bad government. They want to dismantle it, you know, this entity that prevents them from doing whatever the [__] they want. Let them. It's not going to serve them when inflation's already up. Inflation's up 3%.
Um, you know, it's happening. People's benefits are going to be cut off. It doesn't really, you know, and Trump was talking to Jessica Tarlov yesterday on Raging Moderates, you know, and Scott rather. And Scott is certainly of an economic stratum, uh, and Jessica, where it doesn't, like, what's happening now doesn't really affect them. They make enough money.
I'm not on their level, but I am one person. I don't have kids, uh, like financially, like I'm okay. Doesn't really affect me either. Uh, I'm male, I'll never get pregnant. Uh, I'm not heterosexual, so I'm not going to get anybody pregnant. So that bit doesn't really affect me. But there are a lot of people this will affect.
And here's the difference. Like, I could take that sort of stance of, well, it doesn't really affect me, so whatever, why should I care? I do care. It bothers me that a lot, that some people are going to have, like, their checks aren't coming, their coverages of certain things, medications, food, you know, SNAP, you know, food program.
That's going to affect a lot of people. That really bothers me. That's not fair. That's not American. That's un-American. Okay, Trump version of America, you know, Musk's version of America, it's me. Well, Republicans, you know, me, mine, I, me, mine, mine for me, for me. Like, that's what that was about, the whole for me thing.
Whereas progressives tend to be more about we, ours, us, ours, we, you know what I mean? More people in the, a little more inclusive. So will a lot of this [__] going down affect me directly? No.
No, but the fact that it affects a lot of other Americans, because I am a compassionate individual with empathy, unlike people running our [__] government. Uh, yeah. So do I believe that there will be a secession of states? I don't know.
I don't know what the [__] is going on. Nobody... I'm not in the predicting the future game. I'm not a political expert. I'm just a whiner. Like, I'm a comedic wire. Um, I don't know. Nobody knows. No quote-unquote experts know. Nobody knows. There's suspicions. We need a new mayor. No [__]. It's really Russell Vought. Oh yeah, he's the, uh, sort of spearheaded Project 2025.
Film tonight, I think, today, I'm going to see this afternoon, I'm going to go to, like, play a little hookie and go to the movies and go to an IMAX showing of, um, the Led Zeppelin documentary, because I [__] love Led Zeppelin. I love Led Zeppelin.
We don't really have a big rock band like Led Zeppelin, do we? Like, where is rock and roll like that? I guess Jack White, like, that might have been the closest we had, or maybe Foo Fighters, you know. But like recently, like, do we... we don't really have a rock band like Led Zeppelin or early Van Halen, like Van Halen I, Van Halen.
Or, well, I was never into the heavy metal. Like Kiss, I get it. Um, Black Sabbath, I totally get it. Ozzy Osbourne's fabulous. Thank you. Thank you for helping keep alive. Law of 95, appreciate that. Thank you.
Um, come on, Lenore. Oh, it's a husky. Why are we putting a coat on a husky? Um, would I see Clooney on Broadway? Yes, I have a friend in the show. I'm definitely going to that show. See if I can hustle like opening night situation.
Uh, but yes, I'm going to go see Good Night, and Good Luck. I love that film. I think Clooney will do a good job. I like George Clooney a lot, you know. I think he's a down bro. I think he and I would be fun friends.
Uh, but, um, what other, like, rock, not heavy metal? Like Black Sabbath, I get it. Kiss, I get it. Led Zeppelin, oh, Rolling Stones. I love early Van Halen. I love Van Halen's, like, first three albums so much. Who else do I love? Come on. Oh, Queen. Queen, like the original, like Freddie Mercury lineup Queen. Steam.
Um, who else do we love? I mean, sexy rock and roll on... [Music] Go. What was it? Marilyn Manson, you know, for all his troubles, like, said one of the best things about his music I've ever heard any musician say. Marilyn Manson said, you know, my goal is to create great rock music that doesn't confuse strippers.
Which, you know, it's pretty clear. Like, I think Led Zeppelin is good stripping music. Van Halen, good stripping, like pole dancing music. Some Stones, sure. Like, what can we pole dance to, right? Aerosmith, good one. Thank you. That's what I'm talking... sorry, buddy. Yeah, Aerosmith, definitely good stripping rock music for sure.
AC/DC, you said it. Thank you. That's where I was really having a blind spot. I love AC/DC. Back in Black is one of my favorite albums ever. Yeah, The Who, pretty good. Some of The Doors, a little early. I think the kind of rock I'm talking about didn't really come onto the scene until the 70s. The Doors are a 60s phenomenon to me. Nine Inch Nails, 90s later, you know, for sure.
Um, Thin Lizzy. Anyway, um, why did that come up? Oh, because I'm going to go see the Led Zeppelin documentary this afternoon. Yeah, I should go look at the Rotten Tomatoes rating before I go. I am, uh, I'm using one of my AMC Stubs screenings now. We get four a week. Kind of fabulous.
And I think I'm going to go see the new, um, Captain America movie tomorrow because, uh, yeah, I'm a Marvel fan. It's kind of like fading on me though. But Harrison Ford, man, like, talk about [__] goals. The guy is what, 82? Looking bomb. God, Daddy's looking good. Trimmed.
Did you see him in, um, is it Esquire magazine or is it Interview? I don't [__] remember. He looked great. He looks great. Yeah, Wall Street Journal. Sorry, Wall Street Journal. Hall Notes, sure. Patrice, come on. ZZ Top, Stray Cats, not rough enough. A little too clean, more rockabilly, those guys.
Um, Sunset Boulevard, great movie. Um, so yeah, I'm going to catch the new Captain America tomorrow. It's one of the things I love about New York is that we get movies... I, you can see it elsewhere anyway.
Um, that's it, guys. I am going to try to make a new... I'm coming up with a new sort of lunch combo, which is going to be... um, come on, Poppy. Hi, baby. Oh my gosh, Lenore, are you going to make a friend or are you going to be a [__]? She'd be a [__]. Good girl. Playtime.
Hello, friends. Hey, be nice. No one likes... kisses, kisses. Oh, don't be a [__]. No one likes a [__]. What, what, what? Look at these two. Oh my God, what the... cutest. Oh my gosh. All right, you guys, I'm going to go. I'll see you later.
