Morning everybody. It is 11:06. I'm late. I'm late. I usually like to start this party sharp at 11. Hi, baby. Lenor is not always friendly with other dogs that are around her size. She can be a little bit of a [__] with dogs that she feels competitive with, or she feels like she's got a... I don't know. She's generally better, not totally but generally better with smaller dogs, and she is always good with puppies. Yeah. But other than that, I'm always kind of walking the earth with her at Defcon 3. I always have to be like a little bit careful. So, I hope everyone's having an okay day. Ooh, we got the signal. We're good. Come on, puppy. Heading over to the park right now.
I've been enjoying doing the videos, the lives, like you know, with a lockdown tripod in the horizontal format in my apartment. It's just easier on the arm. Then I don't have to carry the phone and hold it up and look like the [__] that I look like right now doing like a selfie video. Oh god. Yeah. Anyway, my hair is all jacked. Let's see. Texas is in the house. It's rainy Rhode Island. Stock market. Oh my god. Right. I'm not even well-versed in how that [__] works. It was never my world. But I do know enough to know that Trump's liberation day [__] tariff [__] let's pick fights with our friends. God, what an [__]. And the people around him is messing with the stock market in all the wrong ways. So gosh, I hope you know, hold on to your butts, kids. Hold on to your butts. Because it's going to be, I think, a rickety ride. I, you know, all my money's in savings. I've got, you know, an IRA. I don't have any investments. Like, I have nothing in the stock market right now, which is, you know, okay. But anyway, Brier Devito, you make me laugh. Sending love from Lexington, Kentucky. I have a friend from Lexington. My friend, oh my god. Anyway, my friend, basketball player Rex Chapman, Rex from Lex. Sexy Rexie. I have to check in with Rex. It's been a minute. I adore him. He's such a good guy.
Jenny Blitz says he is bent on destruction and cruelty. I just, and also, you guys, I don't think there's this master evil plan. I just think he is surrounded by people, and you know, Musk the same way, but he is insulated, I should say. Surrounded by, yes, is accurate to say, but I think maybe even more granular in description to say he is insulated largely by people who just keep stroking him and telling him he's a genius and this is what to do. And he's really kind of like, he's a little brainwormed himself on top of being like crazy and like a little bit, little bit of an oatmeal brain. Like he's just like, he's lost it. So he's old, senile. There's all that happening. Hello papa. Old and all that happening, but I think he gets a little red-pilled by the company he keeps also. So I think there's probably a few things going on there. And he thinks this is just like fine. And people around him are telling him, 'No, this is the way to go. It's going to do this for the markets for a little bit, but hang in there and everything's going to be fine. It's going to level off.' Like I'm sure he's being told that kind of [__]. I'm not sure. I'm just guessing, right? Like that seems that would make sense. But because I honestly, to sort of... Good girl. Look at her. Gets right to it. Get out my trusty bag. I don't get plastic bags from stores anymore. Generally, I don't do a whole lot of like grocery store shopping, but I buy the bags. Yeah. Anyway, and I always carry in case of emergencies twice as many as I think I will ordinarily need. So, if I think I'm going to need two, I'm going to bring four.
I don't think Trump is that bright, guys. I don't, you know, I think he's incredibly... Wow. He is one lucky rich kid. Like, he has been charmed by such... I think Lenor this way, honey. He has been charmed, I think, by such blind luck so many times in his life. A lot of times money has bought the luck, but in other areas, you know, he's super charmed by it. And I just, you know, the mad genius [__], I just don't think he's that bright. I think he's kind of dumb in a lot of respects. And a little crazy, like mentally incapacitated, losing it if he hasn't lost it altogether. Let's be real. There are some things he's very smart about. He's very smart when it comes to manipulation of media. I would say when it comes to knowing how to manipulate media. God, he's got everyone's number, doesn't he? Huh? I got to give him that. No one, you know, nobody does it better. Just think about it like if you are tuned into the news and you get alerts on your phone in the last few months, how many times has the name Trump been in the headline? I would say easily 70% of the time. Crazy.
Four senators. Yeah, the four senators, that's a crack in the wall. I think the four senators, Mitch McConnell was one, Rand Paul was another. I forget who the other two were. Voted with Democrats. You know, you got to wonder like, is there a little chip in the wall here? Are people starting to show a vertebra? I deliberately chose the Latin singular instead of a vertebrae, which is plural. No. Are they showing a vertebra? Huh? Maybe. Yeah, I saw that. Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, and I forget who the other two were. So anyway, here's... Oh, wow. Look at this. Oh, this is chic. Look at this. This is brand new. This I'll show you. Lenor's going to get a little pizza box recycling. That's very specific. Remove food and other contents and discard them into the trash can. Place empty box in the slot below. Okay, that's so specific. Lenor, what do you think? You smell pizza? I mean, it makes sense. And pizza boxes are cumbersome when you're out in the park with a pizza box and folding the [__] and like when you're done with it. They're pretty awkward. There's this one company, I think it's in Staten Island, all they do is make pizza boxes and they just like recycle them or something like that. I forget about... I remember coming across a story like that a couple years back. I thought like, god, and they supply like all the pizzerias, like what a banging business. Good for you. You cornered a market. Susan Collins. Oh, yeah. Okay. Megan Mahaland. That's pizza. Pizza for dinner tonight. You know, not a bad idea.
I am having a special night. I'm going to the opening night. This makes it sound like my life is fancier than it is. I just, I'm lucky to know some nice people. Anyway, I'm going to the opening night of Good Night and Good Luck, the new play starring George Clooney, Elana Glazer, and my friend Clark Gregg. Anyway, that's tonight. And then there's a little party afterwards, so it's exciting. Flash, flash, camera, camera. Good times. I am really excited to see this show. It's a limited run. I think it runs into June. Tickets are [__] crazy. Like fair full market tickets are like just under $800. I think seven and change. I forget the exact number. Like orchestra seats. [__] Balcony. Or mezzanine. Different story. Oh, you want to go this way? Yeah, we can go this way. Come on. Hey, bud. Let's take a nice walk. Lenor, you can't play this game with me. Come on. You stop playing this game. Come on, let's go. She does this. I want to go. I don't want to go. I want to go around. I don't want to... I want to go left. I want to go right. She's like Andy, Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink. I don't want to go home. I don't want you to take me out. I don't want you to take me home. I don't want to go out. Like, what do you want? What do you want to do? Lenor, let's go. Come on. I should have called her Andy. Like Molly Ringwald, Pretty in Pink. That show is going to be great. Yes, I am wearing a tux. It is black tie. What are you shaking about? Oh. Oh, it's the construction noise. I see. Okay. All right. Okay, honey. Nothing's coming to get you. You can relax and we will get home without you pulling my arm out of its socket. That'd be great. Oh my god. That would be great. That would be great. Wow. Oh, she's really hopped up here. All right. Okay. Anyway, tonight's movie might be Good Night and Good Luck. Although, am I rubbing it in? It's a great story, though. I think it's a great movie. Clooney directed the movie. I think it's really well done. Downey's in it. Ray Wise. I love Ray Wise. So handsome. Downey, Clooney, of course. David Strathairn. Strathairn, is that how you say it? Also a very quietly sexy dude. Like under the radar sexy. I love low-key sexy. It's my favorite. Strathairn's got that. Like Clooney is like, that's like you can't comprehend that sexy. It's like, oh okay, yeah. Blinded by the sexiness. Strathairn under the radar. Ray Wise. There's another one. Some people just blind you and you just look at them, you're like, 'Yeah, I could look at you all day, but you're way out of my league. I'm not even going to consider it.' Like Clooney is way into that. And then, you know, there are others, right? So, there you have it.
So, yes, I am wearing a tux. That is a black tie affair. Plus, when it's a big deal show and it's opening night, throw it on. And I'm not doing show for chic. I'm not doing a black suit and a necktie. I'm doing a proper tuxedo with a bow tie. Although, I did get a new tuxedo shirt for Justin's wedding. I usually wear a tux shirt. I have two tux shirts with a marcella bib. Marcella is that sort of like waffle weave of the cotton, that sort of stiff waffle weave. But the new one I have has a pleated bib. I'm going to wear the pleated one. Oh, good. All right. Okay. Anyway, I've been talking too long. Dude, you're totally in Clooney's league. No, you're nice to say that, but no. Like, he's way out of my league. Let's see. Bring treats for Lenor. Hi, George. Hope it's a great day for you. You look great. Oh, thank you. I will post photos. Of course, it's going to be like I'm going to be a [__] with selfies. Excuse me. And I'm sure the celebrity wattage will be through the roof at the show and at the after party. So, yeah, fun. Lot of [__] out in the park today. Beware the Ramble. Anyway, yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing the show. So, I will report back. You'll get a full report tomorrow. Yeah, and that's all I can tell you. Okay. I love you kids. And that's it. Have a great Thursday.
Wait, is there new TV? There's no more Jack Reacher. We got to catch up with... Oh, and I watched Top Gun one last night. I recently saw Maverick, so I didn't need to do the double feature that I suggested, but I forgot that Top Gun is Top Gun. Before I go, I'm sorry. I know I was going to end the video, but Top Gun is such, like in terms of production design and costume design, like the whole look and feel, like everyone is sprayed with sweat. Like every... it was so hot where they were, everyone is sweating at all times, like beaded sweat. So, it's supposed to be like hot, right? And everybody looks amazing and it's sort of like a precursor to the Abercrombie & Fitch look if you know what I'm saying. Like Top Gun looks like the inspiration for everything Abercrombie & Fitch that started like 10 years later because Top Gun was '86. Abercrombie & Fitch's moment was in the '90s, like mid '90s. So, yeah, definitely inspired by Top Gun when you watch that movie because it is such a good-looking movie. It's such a good-looking movie and still to this day, you know, like a bomber jacket, a white t-shirt, and jeans. I'm kind of wearing it today. Is a solid look that never goes out for casual. Like Tom Cruise looked great. The other guys looked great. White t-shirts, jeans, it looked like an Abercrombie ad before Abercrombie ads were an Abercrombie ad thing, right? Anyway, and I would say Maverick does a similar thing. That volleyball game in the first one and then of course football in the second. So gay. Anyway, go see it. It's streaming on Paramount Plus, both of them. All right.
