Well, I think I first sensed when I joined the Slack unit, which has been 2 years, that I realized that you and I have both been working on the Slack unit for about the same amount of time. The care about the end user. And I think Salesforce does have a care about the end user, but Slack almost takes it to an extreme in their product-led growth way of growing the product. And so, the Slack user base loves Slack. And Slack's mission is to make sure that there's customer love and user love, and that people really kind of have this delightful experience within the product. And so, when I saw that, I realized adoption and user adoption and wanting to be in that surface, it was really important pre-AI, but now in the conversational interface, we have the interface that people want to be in, including all the foundation model companies. They live in Slack. It's the place where AI happens, and you know, it's really our opportunity that we have to capture on.

Well, you know, Slack started as this, you know, stand-alone product mostly in engineering groups, right? You know, every engineering group, you know, in all our customers, they like hold on to their Slack. And the vision was just stay in the flow of work if you're a developer. Don't have to log into Jira, don't have to go to get. Just do all your work and it just comes to you. And I think the vision of Slack expanded beyond that. Certainly Stewart Butterfield and Cal Henderson, the founders, had this vision of stay in the flow of work for everything. I don't think when we acquired Slack that it had fully realized that vision. And so, the power of Salesforce and Slack together is that Slack could be that surface area of productivity for doing all your work in Salesforce or almost all of it and that the work comes to you. Your leads that you want to work that day or the trouble tickets if you're in service that you need to work on or if you built some custom apps, you know, we have our bug tracking system called Gus. Have that come to me in Slack and so that Salesforce can actually be the interface for Salesforce can be Slack. And that we can be inspired by that to make Slack the interface for all enterprise work.

bot. How you doing? Good to see you. So, Slackbot kind of got a major a major glow up, a major revamp in the last few months.

I think first of all, Slackbot should be something that, you know, like I was saying earlier, Slack should just be something that you use, you discover, you love, and it shouldn't be an effort to find the power of Slack. And that's true of Slackbot. Like Slackbot just works. It's your employee superagent. It's right there. And just out of the box, it will help you do incredible things. It will, you know, service all of the intelligence because companies work in Slack. All those conversations, the documents, all the things that you're connected to, it's all right there for the AI. And so, we've built Slackbot to essentially be this magical companion, magical assistant, superagent. For developers, it's incredible because you can actually use Slackbot in your development. You can talk to Slackbot about your development. We're tying it through MCP to like you saw the headless 360 here. Slackbot is also a client. It's an MCP client. And so, you connect it I had an example that I showed last night. I connected it to some internal tooling, a system called ATS that's basically our analytics for how we run Slack. And I wanted to know what's the growth in use of MCP that cuz Slack is an MCP server out to other clients. And it's it's skyrocketed, by the way. I didn't have to leave Slack. I just talked to Slackbot. It answered the question because it had this tool for ATS. And so, we're expanding Slackbot to do incredible things and Slack for that matter. One of our top engineers wants you to basically, you know, a pull request from Git. Instead of it just coming to you, what if we had a channel that was about that pull request? Because maybe Julian and I want you to review my code. So, I've written some code, like could you review it?

Why can't we do that in a channel? Why can't it just be right there? And so, you know, for developers, we're going to keep That's That's where Slack started its success. We're going to give you incredible power of Slack with Slackbot, and you're going to be on fire.

Well, first of all, our developers, especially the ones on Slackbot, have discovered the productivity of agentic coding. Just like you saw at this conference about agent for his vibes and headless 360, we are going faster than ever. We had an event a couple weeks ago, or was it last week? I'm losing track.

Where we showed some incredible new capabilities of Slackbot, where it could listen to your conversations and transcribe and take notes. It can create presentations, whether you're on G Suite or Office 365. So, we're adding all kinds of We're adding skills. So, the ability to pre-write, which actually internal to Salesforce just took off virally, where people are like, 'I figured out how to let Slackbot do X and Y for me.' Sorry for the noise here. We are at a conference. So, we're going to keep adding all these capabilities, but also we're going to focus on that discovery, that adoption, that, you know, ease of use. Customer last night asked me like, 'Slackbot's great. My engineers are going to discover it. I love it. They're going to figure out how to use skills and everything else you've done, but my people in legal or in finance, how are you going to help them?' And I think that's so important, and it's kind of the product-led growth, the focus on the end user. We're going to do that with Slackbot, because it doesn't matter if you built it. If no one's using it, who cares?
