Good evening everyone. I'm very happy that you are all here at the XPeng GX launch event. I also thank the many friends online who are paying special attention to this car today. The video we just saw was quite long, about 8 minutes, but I think it's what I want to share with you—some thoughts and reflections about the XPeng G9. The last sentence in the video, I believe, is true for both me and everyone: the XPeng G9 should be dedicated to all of us who are striving and working hard for ourselves and for this era.
Today is also a very special day. It's May 20th, and 520 is an auspicious number. Unlike Double 11, many friends, I believe, are watching this launch with their loved ones. Thank you. At the same time, today marks about 12 years since XPeng was founded. This is the first time we are launching a large six-seater that is a comprehensive flagship in terms of design, hardware, AI, manufacturing, and quality. To be honest, when XPeng first started, I was thinking about when we could make a very, very cool car that my friends and I, and many people here, would love. We've been working hard, from the G3 and P7 to now, we've made many models, but this is the first time we've put so much capability into such a large car. And it has arrived.
In the past month of pre-launch, I visited many places. My good friends in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai, I talked to them about the XPeng G9, and I'm very grateful to them. They all gave high praise to this car, and quite a few have already ordered it. Actually, the initial definition of the G9 came from me, from our internal team, from many of our friends, and I believe from all of you. We saw a very interesting issue: the market is not lacking six-seater flagship SUVs, but to do all the capabilities well—to have it all—is really not easy. On the big screen, you can see many ideas that are real-world pain points my friends and I have observed. For example, a car needs to be large and prestigious, but also easy to drive and park. Often, these are conflicting and unbalanced. So, how to bring these seemingly unbalanced needs together is a very difficult thing.
We also collected data from major social media and automotive vertical platforms. We can see that there are many large cars on the market, but there are also many pain points. On the left, you can see seven pain points. The car is large, but every U-turn feels like taking a driving test. For example, high wind resistance leads to high energy consumption. People who drive large cars are particularly concerned about energy consumption because it affects the cost. Whether it's gas or electricity, the cost is much higher. Also, after three rows of people are seated, there's no room for luggage, and so on. I believe this is why XPeng today is officially launching our new tech flagship, the XPeng GX. I expect it will be XPeng's most technologically advanced car, and also our first large six-seat SUV. I believe it's very likely to be the best car in this industry that uses technology to guide how it's made, because it's a car we want to make well for our friends—a car that's easy to drive, easy to use, and grand. It's built for real users and real needs.
Today, I want to use seven parts to share and report on how the XPeng GX uses technology to redefine the flagship. This includes a grand exterior that's also easy to drive and park; a tech-focused interior that's both refined and practical; how to achieve flagship safety so the whole family can be at ease; ultra-low energy consumption for a large car; how to give a large car agile handling without feeling like you're driving a boat; assisted driving that not only the husband likes to drive, but the wife, and even the parents all love to drive; and a spacious interior that can seat and carry a lot. Now, let me report on how XPeng GX addresses these seven aspects.
First, the exterior must be done well. Let me share a friend's original words: 'My wife wants a large car so she can sit high and see far, but driving a large car is too difficult for turns, and parking is also hard.' So, how does XPeng think about and approach this? First, we believe a flagship needs a commanding presence. The GX is 5,265 mm long, with a wheelbase of 3,115 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, and a height of 1,800 mm. It's a standard full-size flagship. I believe parked anywhere, its presence is full, confident, and composed. Secondly, we look at the GX from different angles. It uses a flagship design language that is minimalist, without extra complex lines. So overall, you can see that in different colors, it's steady, grand, confident, and composed. We integrated the lights with the front face, making the entire presence restrained yet powerful. Driving it out, I think it gives you a lot of face, and it's great for both family and business use.
This is footage our media friends recently shot in Lijiang, with the background of the sun shining on the golden mountain. When we saw this video, our first impression was four words: 'majestic and imposing.' Very confident and composed. So we specially brought this short video to you today. At the same time, the GX has a high seating position. It also has a very interesting feature: if you sit in the driver or passenger seat, you'll find the A-pillar is specially optimized. It gives the front row a very open field of view. So many friends who test drive it say, 'Wow, the view from this car is amazing. You can see the road conditions and traffic ahead clearly.' For such a grand car that lets you sit high and see far, it comes standard with rear-wheel steering. As you can see in the video, this is the GX next to a small MINI Cooper. For a car that's nearly 5.3 meters long, its turning radius is even smaller than an A0-class car, only 5.4 meters. So, being able to make a U-turn on a two-lane road is very important.
Recently, we've had many media professionals and quite a few owners test drive the GX. I can say with great confidence that the GX's sporty handling is excellent. Many friends sent me private messages after test driving. They said, 'Xiaopeng, this car doesn't feel as big as it looks. It drives very flexibly, even nimble. It feels better to drive than many full-size SUVs they've driven.' The GX also has many other features in terms of its grand design. Let me quickly report: First, it has a super-large area of flat side windows. It not only reduces wind resistance—did you know the GX's drag coefficient is 0.255, which is very low for such a large SUV—but also provides a very open view. Second, the GX has two wide through-type lights at the front and rear. Many friends may not know that in 2020, on the first-generation XPeng P7, we brought through-type lights to the new energy industry. Today, many cars on the streets have them, but at that time, XPeng P7 used great courage to innovate and bring through-type lights to a production model. On the G9, we invested heavily to widen the through-type lights front and rear, making them refined and grand. Standing in front of these lights, whether day or night, you feel a powerful presence. Recently, when I pass our GX at night and see its shining through-type lights, I always walk over to take a look. It's really great.
The GX also features a special logo. We use space-grade ceramic with 24K gold. From our perspective, this logo truly embodies understated luxury without being flashy, yet it subtly reflects the flagship's identity in the details. The GX also comes with a million-pixel AI digital projection headlight co-developed with Huawei. This is the industry's top lighting technology. It not only illuminates like a headlight but can also intelligently project onto the ground or ahead. It can also precisely mask the light during night driving, turning the light into a sense of ceremony for travel without dazzling oncoming people or cars. The GX also features electric doors on all four doors. They are anti-pinch, anti-slam, and have active obstacle avoidance. For example, when we open the door, if a bicycle is coming from behind, it will automatically avoid the obstacle based on the situation of the bicycle, person, or car behind, opening slowly or not at all. So on rainy days, when carrying a child or things, it's very elegant. Like now, when I'm outside and open the GX door, I just press a button, and it opens automatically and elegantly. If you're standing by the door, it sees you and won't open.
At the same time, I want to share that I believe in the future, for L4 intelligent assisted driving, cars will all have electric doors. Because in the future, let's imagine: if you're going to work, you should walk to your car, the car automatically drives out, the driver's door opens automatically, you get in, and then you tell it, 'Let's go to work.' I believe this will become the standard driving life for many people in a few years. We've also equipped the GX with intelligent electric running boards. When the door opens, the car automatically lowers the suspension—sorry, I misspoke—when the door opens, the whole car automatically lowers the suspension. This way, the elderly and children don't need to tiptoe to get in and out, making every step从容. Combined with the welcome light effect, it makes every entry and exit full of ceremony.
The GX also offers many different color choices. The first is Everest White. Simply put, it's pure, grand, minimalist, and versatile. The second is black. For a large car, black can sometimes make it look smaller, but the GX is grand enough. Paired with black, it's steady, premium, mysterious, and stylish. The third color is Fjord Gray. We use a dark gray base with a semi-transparent coating, creating a unique texture. It looks different in different weather—sometimes gray, sometimes tech gray, sometimes dark gray, and sometimes even black. It has a special premium feel. The fourth color is Danxia Red. Its inspiration comes from the Danxia landforms at sunset. So it has different layers of light red, deep red, and purple at different times. I have a friend named Danxia. I told him we have a red called 'your red.' Would you like to try it? He tried it and loved it. He also bought a Danxia Red, feeling the GX perfectly matches his real needs. The fifth is Matte Cloud Ink Gold. This is the only matte color in our lineup. We use BASF's top matte clear coat to create a multi-layer nano coating. Its control effect is 25% better than clear coats on the market. Finally, we also bring the Kunlun Cloud dual-tone color for the GX. The inspiration for the Kunlun Cloud dual-tone comes from when our designer first went to the Kunlun Snow Mountains and felt the mountains below and the snow above. The whole car uses a 6C44B paint process, with film thickness and mirror gloss reaching ultra-luxury brand standards. So here is our entire family lineup. Isn't it impressive and beautiful? I wonder if you all like it.
So I believe the GX's six colors are all grand, tech-focused, and minimalist. Different personalities, different needs—you can definitely find a color you love. At the same time, a grand car needs good wheels. As you can see here, the XPeng GX wheels all come standard with Michelin tires. The smallest wheels are 21 inches. Our 22-inch wheels have front 265 and rear 285 ultra-wide staggered tires, and they come with an adaptive, floating logo for a stronger luxury feel. Now that we've talked about the exterior, let's look at the GX's interior. Our design requirement this time is not only to be refined and luxurious but also tech-focused and practical. Let's look at some friends' expectations for the interior. They expect the interior to have enough quality and a sense of luxury, but they don't want it to be too flashy. They expect it to be minimalist and understated, without ostentatious luxury. Recently, I was chatting with some design friends overseas. They were surprised by a question: why are Chinese cars selling so well in Europe recently? They were discussing with me why. At the same time, they asked me one question: why do Chinese cars now have a slightly off tone in their interior design? I didn't quite understand at first, so I asked what they meant. They said that in Europe, they believe true luxury isn't about piling on crystals or gold leaf, but about excellent design, refined configuration, brand heritage, and technological differentiation. So, from another perspective, we at XPeng have also been thinking about how to combine technology, refinement, details, and practicality in the best way to form a new kind of tech luxury. Now, let me report on some of the interior details of the XPeng GX.
First, the GX offers three interior color options. The first is called 'Fu Xiaobai.' It's particularly suitable for minimalist families and young owners who love technology. The second is called 'Ningwu Purple.' Purple has always been a well-received color for XPeng. To be honest, when I was a child, I thought my favorite number was 7 because Sunday was a day off. I also thought purple might be the most beautiful color. But in the real world, purple isn't that common. However, in car colors, whether it's the XPeng G9, G6, or the youngest M03, I see many people like purple. It's gentle, romantic, serene, and elegant, full of warmth and a sense of home. At the same time, the third interior color is called 'Platinum Brown.' It's a luxurious, lush color inspired by the classic brown tones of haute couture luxury goods, giving a sense of timeless elegance. Many friends also like this one. So we're launching three interior colors this time, and I believe with our six exterior colors, you can find the best combination.
The XPeng G9 this time pioneered a new translucent leather craft. We put the ambient lights under the leather. When lit, it's like a brilliant galaxy; when off, you can't see it at all. If you try to touch it, you won't feel anything—it's a perfect blend of light and leather. And you can turn it on during the day or turn it off at night; it will be completely hidden. We provide great settings for this. The GX this time uses a very interesting 'Navigator Floating Island' design. Many people ask, 'XPeng, why did you make the G9's center island floating instead of connected?' I want to share some details our product managers observed. We found some very interesting effects. First, many women, and even men with large bags, don't put them under the center island. They usually put them in the passenger seat or the trunk. But most of the time, we'd like to put them to the driver's right or the passenger's left. At that time, because many bags have a handle on top that can't be pressed down, we made this floating island. It's easy to hang the handle on it, so it's simple, easy, and practical. At the same time, we also considered placing ETC cards, access cards, and other frequently used cards in the card storage slot.
The GX has five screens in total, including an 88-inch panoramic AR-HUD, a tech island instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central control screen, and a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen. In the second row, there's also an 8-inch control screen, achieving an immersive audio-visual experience for the whole family. Let's quickly share about XPeng's AR-HUD. Since its launch, the AR-HUD has received great feedback from many users. On the GX, we've continued this interactive and user experience. As you can see, this is recent footage from media test drives. In rain, snow, or fog, when driving, when the human eye can't clearly see the road ahead, the HUD has already projected the road's turning and traffic information clearly. A good HUD greatly improves driving safety.
Second, let me share about the XPeng GX's comfort. A key part of comfort is making the seats well. This time, the GX's passenger seat and the right-side second-row seat—the one behind the passenger—are both zero-gravity seats. Many friends ask, 'Why not make the entire second row zero-gravity seats?' Through data and actual experience, we found that if the driver in the front row is of standard height, the zero-gravity seat behind the driver in the second row can't fully recline. So, for the second row behind the driver, the best option is a 'Flight Comfort Seat' that can fully recline, regardless of whether the driver is 1.8 meters tall or even taller. After making both the passenger seat and the right-side second-row seat zero-gravity, they can both be used at the same time, instead of only one. This allows the passenger's loved one and the parent or colleague in the second row to both relax without compromising. At the same time, we've equipped both zero-gravity seats with seat cushion airbags as standard, further improving overall safety. These two zero-gravity seats, I also want to share, are fully loaded with luxury features. They have 16-point pressure massage—remember, many so-called massages might be 8, 10, or 12 points, but this one fully simulates human hand massage, very powerful, and relieves long-distance fatigue. It also has 3-level ventilation, 3-level heating, and 16-way electric adjustment, all included.
At the same time, the GX's interior has another very interesting feature: it can be converted into two beds. The first and second rows, as you can see, can be folded down to form one bed. The third row electrically folds flat into the floor. The front bed is about 1.8 meters long, so a 1.8-meter person can sleep on it. The back bed is a bit smaller, for a 1.6-meter child. So it can simultaneously form two large beds, which is a very interesting feature. Our friends know that if you buy a large car, you definitely need poetry and distant places. So the GX has many interesting points for outdoor camping. Here, we'll share two usage scenarios you can see with the GX: one is camping on the roof, and one is camping at the tail. The GX will support 6 kW of external power discharge. And its discharge capability, I want to say here, sometimes if your community or city has a temporary power outage, you can use the car's external discharge to very well alleviate the need for a long power outage. Because it has air conditioning, a TV, a sofa, a refrigerator, and a 220V power outlet, it's very convenient.
The GX considers a lot of storage space. Because it's a large car, it has 62 clever storage spaces. I especially want to share that it has hidden spaces in the door panels for folding umbrellas and small storage bags. Under the third-row seats on both sides, there's a drawer each, which can hold children's homework, toys, or things that are only occasionally used. Everything can be put away. And every seat has its own phone slot. The whole car has 15 charging ports, all seats have fast-charging ports, and there's a 220V power outlet in the second row. At the same time, there are other related external charging ports. The entire GX has eight ecosystem expansion ports. They can be used to customize high-frequency scenarios around car use, placed on the center console, door panels, headliner, trunk, etc., for holding brackets, camping lights, expansion tables, and other very interesting things. This is a friend's original words: 'When I'm sitting in the back row wanting to rest or change clothes temporarily—because sometimes after exercising, you might need a place to change, but the worst part is when there are many people around and it's inconvenient. Well, sorry, the GX makes them not see.' This reminds me of a line from Stephen Chow's movies. Beijing friends might not understand, but we in Guangdong know it better: 'You can't see me, you can't see me.' So in the GX, XPeng and Fuyao jointly developed AI privacy-tinted glass. It can change the glass color in 0.16 seconds, and people outside can't see in, while you can see out. The visible light blocking rate reaches 99.4%. When entering tunnels or underground garages, it can automatically change color for sun protection and heat insulation. At the same time, people sitting in the third row can also use buttons to support independent tinting for the third row, so every row is convenient.
We also saw a customer's original words: 'Many flagship cars now have car refrigerators, but after using them a few times, the smells mix. Can you improve it a bit? Even better, can it sterilize? For example, if you put some fruit in it, let the child eat it without getting diarrhea.' So this time, the GX cooperated with Midea to create the industry's first bacteria-free, air-cooled, dual-door, dual-zone car refrigerator. It supports a super-wide temperature range from -6°C to 50°C for cooling or heating, and can kill 99.99% of bacteria. Our previous refrigerators were convenient for the second row, but this time we considered the driver and front passenger. They can also easily open it. And when opened from the front row, the upper double-door, dual-zone, double-layer refrigerator can also hold face masks, cosmetics, and other things, better supporting the needs of female owners. So I believe the XPeng GX's refrigerator will definitely be a favorite for parents, grandparents, and children.
Speaking of grandparents and children, there's another original voice: 'Every time we get in the car, the elderly at home say, 'Don't let the air conditioning blow on me, I'll catch a cold.' Actually, I believe finding an air conditioner that cools down quickly but doesn't make the elderly and children catch a cold is the GX's 'Gentle Breeze' central air conditioning. We designed a unique 'forest' air vent in the front, the only one in its class, and the rear headliner has a large-area surround. So you'll see the car's air vents are very large but very gentle. It heats up quickly in winter and cools down quickly in summer, and the cooling is imperceptible. So the elderly and children are less likely to catch a cold. For the sake of children, the XPeng G9 this time specially initiated a project to make many optimizations. All components in the entire cabin, inside and out, have rounded corners and are smooth. This is to prevent children from getting scratched when playing in the car, touching things, or moving quickly. Places in the car that children often touch are 100% covered with soft materials and have passed infant-grade health certification. The rear entertainment screen has passed Rheinland's low blue light eye protection certification, ensuring that watching movies or classes protects the eyes. We also addressed many places in the car, like the refrigerator, roof, and pillars, where there are opening and closing mechanisms. In 10 places, we've added anti-pinch designs, all to protect children.
We also see a similar problem: the biggest trouble with a large car is that when you're driving, for example, at 120 km/h, it's hard for the first and third rows to hear each other clearly. You basically have to shout. The noise inside the car is too loud. This time, XPeng has made a very, very, very effortful ultra-quiet cabin. In the top ten design goals at the beginning, how to be ultra-quiet was one of them. We integrated quiet design throughout all stages, controlling noise from the source. The whole car has 720-degree acoustic wrapping, and all windows are equipped with soundproof glass. Let me quickly introduce: First, the GX includes ENC plus RNC active intelligent noise reduction technology. It's like the car is wearing noise-canceling headphones. If driving at 60 km/h, turning on noise reduction versus not turning it on reduces in-car noise energy by 50%. Second, all side windows of the GX, including the quarter windows, are double-layer soundproof glass. We want to isolate noise from the outside from the very beginning. The GX's interior currently has the best overall quietness among all flagship cars in its class, as tested. We can see that whether on highways or rough city roads, our quietness is about 2 decibels lower than competitors. I want to share that 2 decibels may not seem like much, but it actually reduces energy by about 37%. Especially those annoying hums and harsh noises are basically gone, so chatting and listening to music is more comfortable. I've always believed that the best thing about electric cars is their quietness. When you get in, it's very quiet and comfortable. Combined with the second-generation VLA intelligent assisted driving, you can drive well and also elevate your mood, which is very important.
The GX has 33 speakers throughout the car, forming XPeng's 'Listen AI' audio system. Among them, 25 are main speakers, and 8 are independent headrest speakers. The 7.1.6.8 full-scene, ultra-panoramic sound layout allows different sound zones to be set for front and rear. This means the driver can use navigation and make Bluetooth calls, while children in the back watch cartoons, all without interfering with each other. This way, you can have zoned audio effects. Recently, a female friend of mine told me that after test-driving the GX, she really liked it. She felt the GX was particularly friendly to female owners, especially independent and autonomous women. They would love it. She felt the GX sits high and is easy to drive. At the same time, after turning on VLA, she tried it and thought it was cool. Then, sitting in the passenger seat, there's privacy glass, a zero-gravity seat, and she can put her face mask in our refrigerator. She thought it was really, really cool. So I'm also really looking forward to the XPeng GX. It's not just for men to like, but also for the elderly, for children, and at the same time, it's dedicated to every female owner who is rich inside and independent and free.
Now, let me share the third part: how to use technology to make the car safer, achieving flagship-level safety. An expensive car may not have such high requirements in other areas, but I believe one thing must be achieved: it must be safe. Because family is in the car, safety is the greatest luxury. This saying means not that I'm afraid of an accident, but that I cannot have an accident, because there are people waiting for me to come home. So the GX is designed with a three-part flagship safety system: passive safety, active safety, and aviation-grade redundant safety, to comprehensively protect every passenger's safety. Let me quickly share the first part: the car's passive safety. This time, unlike our previous cars, we challenged a 720-degree, five-fold continuous safety collision with one car. We want to ensure it can withstand impacts and be safe from every angle. The first thing we achieved is bottom safety. As you can see, this test simulates the GX driving off-road, scraping the bottom at about 30 km/h, and then challenging a 700mm wading depth. We can see the result: the whole car's insulation is normal, there's no water seepage at all, and the battery pack is normal. Then, from the bottom, we move to the front. As everyone knows, frontal collisions on highways are the most common. A 100 km/h frontal collision on a highway has been known to be very dangerous in the past. Our collision results show that the A-pillar had no structural failure, the passenger compartment is intact, the doors unlock normally, all four doors can be opened, occupants have no risk of serious injury, the windows automatically roll down, the hazard lights turn on in time, and the power is cut off immediately. Then we did a side impact. It simulates a car being hit from the side while crossing a traffic light. A 100 km/h side impact shows the B-pillar had no structural damage, and the doors, occupants, and windows are all okay. After the side impact, we simulated a rear-end collision, using a 100 km/h impact from the left rear at 45 degrees, simulating a high-speed emergency braking followed by a rear-end collision. We can see that the C and D pillars had no structural failure, the passenger compartment structure is intact, the doors open normally, and the electrolyte and fuel tank did not leak. After that, we also did a test from the top. As everyone knows, sometimes when we're driving, we're especially afraid of having a large truck nearby on a rainy day, because sometimes large trucks might roll over and crush your car. When I was driving in Sichuan before, I remember there was a period of earthquakes, many small tremors. I was driving while watching the mountains, because rocks would often fall from the mountains, sometimes small, sometimes quite large. At that time, you're very afraid of the car being crushed by rolling stones from the mountain. So this test is the entire roof being hit by a 2.2-ton container from a height of one meter, and there's no problem. We want to ensure safety from all five angles.
To ensure the best protection for the front, middle, and rear three rows, the GX comes standard with 11 airbags, the most in its class. You can check: flagship models generally have 9 airbags; we have 11. So it provides more comprehensive safety protection. Many friends who go off-roading might encounter a situation where the vehicle has three wheels on the ground and one wheel is suspended, for example, in muddy areas or when driving in the forest. This is called a cross-axle test. It tests the car's torsional rigidity. The XPeng G9 has a super-strong torsional rigidity of 56,000 Nm. So in such extreme situations, like when the car is stuck in a mud pit, you can still open the doors to escape. Now that we've shared the car's passive safety, let me introduce active safety. In active safety, the first thing we want to talk about is: when you're outdoors, do you often encounter extremely harsh conditions? Strong winds, heavy rain, thick fog, very cold weather, and so on. At this time, especially the risk of vehicle loss of control is high. So, how to maintain stability in harsh environments is most important. The GX brings a new generation of what we call the XVMC integrated motion control system. It's like a person's instinct plus cerebellar training. It can make the entire body—translated to the car, meaning the entire drive, braking, steering, and suspension—greatly improve in sensitivity and stability. In this, we've done three industry-first challenges, including heavy rain, typhoons, and wading. Today, let's quickly show you a short video to experience this. I think it's a challenge level that most cars wouldn't even attempt.
Actually, a really good car, when driving on normal flat ground, is hard to compare with an average car. Only in various special scenarios will you have a very strong feeling. I remember when I first bought a car over ten years ago, I started with an average car, and also had a better car. My impression was very clear at the time. I didn't know how the better car was better. Later, I found it was quieter. Then suddenly, one time in a heavy rain, I found other cars didn't dare to drive, but my car could go through. You'll find that in various special situations, it's actually very important for a flagship car. So the GX this time is a big challenge for XPeng. For the first time, we did continuous driving for 10 kilometers in 700mm of water. In this system, the GX comes standard with two wading radars. So the entire wading depth of 700mm is consistent with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class hardcore off-road SUV. Actually, currently, whether in China or globally, there are occasional heavy rains. Whether in Beijing or Guangzhou, we've all encountered very deep water. At this time, it's very important to have a car that can temporarily pass through deeper water. At the same time, we also did a test in a rainstorm at night. So at this time, a very good ADB headlight is needed. The entire AR-HUD guides us on how to drive and detour, allowing safe driving even in a rainstorm at night. As mentioned earlier, the high-precision ADB adaptive high beam is much better than a regular high beam in this situation. At the same time, our XPeng's VLA works together with the adaptive high beam for an even better effect. Additionally, we just saw that we first simulated a level 12 typhoon test. Everyone knows that in coastal areas or on highways with strong crosswinds, once there's a crosswind, sometimes the steering wheel is hard to hold. At the same time, active safety also includes AES stability, stability in ice and snow environments, and stability in tire blowout situations. Because these three scenarios have been introduced a lot in our past launches, I won't go into detail today. I especially want to share that the GX supports a stability system for tire blowouts at 180 km/h on wet roads. I've experienced it myself. I remember it was over 20 years ago, I was sitting in the passenger seat, and I saw someone had left a nail on the road. As soon as we exited the highway at 60 km/h, the nail punctured the tire. The car on the road was very dangerous, you had to hold the steering wheel tightly. So tire blowout stability is extremely valuable in special scenarios. I believe whether for city commuting or off-road driving, in any road condition, any weather, any scenario, we want to drive without worry. So the GX's all-weather, all-scenario, six stability systems—wading, heavy rain, crosswind, ice and snow, tire blowout, and AES—we hope will better allow the GX to achieve flagship safety.
But that's still not enough. There's another scenario: if one day we're driving and suddenly fall ill and faint, or in some cases, you're too tired and fall asleep, or—what we don't want to see—is drinking too much and getting drunk. At this time, the people in the passenger seat and behind would have a very serious traffic accident. At this time, the car must have a driver impairment assist system. That is to say, when you're especially in intelligent assisted driving or highway assisted driving, we want the car to have better safety to be the last line of defense. After our recent technical debut, after demonstrating this function, many friends said they wanted to experience it personally. We feel at least one very important thing is how to do safety well. When I was in the automotive industry, I knew that a car-grade product requires a failure probability of 10 to the power of -5. But if it's a civil aircraft, the required failure probability is 10 to the power of -9, which is 10,000 times higher. So if we can bring aviation safety capabilities to cars, safety performance will definitely improve greatly. For example, changing from five 9s of safety factor to seven 9s or eight 9s—is there such a probability? I believe there really is. For this greater safety, we are truly willing to pay a higher cost. I also have many friends who, for example, in this recent weather, will go out in groups. Several families drive out together. But when you're out playing for 7 days, 15 days, or even one to two months, you often encounter some unexpected issues with the car. Rescue in the wilderness is very frustrating. I remember several times my friends said mice got into the car and chewed through the wires. One reason mice can get in is the non-wire-controlled chassis, which has a hole underneath. So how to make a car not break down or lose control in extreme situations to protect long-distance travel is very important.
