Product Focus: Glycan-4fx™ with Dr. Steve Nugent

Well, this new product Gan 4FX is really a step forward in terms of mobility. It's a different kind of approach than we've done before. I like the science, I like the ingredients, and I like the results. I like the really quick results with this. It's really pretty impressive. It's good science. It's been studied for quite a long time. So what we're doing now is we're using proteoglycan which is extracted from fish collagen. So you do have the collagen structural benefit there. But the proteoglycan, although proteoglycans do give you some amount of structural benefit, the really exciting thing about it is the fact that this is more for cushioning. And I know that sounds really good. If you've been having mobility problems, you're thinking, yeah, some cushion would be kind of good there. Well, we're talking about being able to retain the right kind of fluid in the right places in your joints so you have a lot more cushion. Now, the cushion obviously is going to make you feel better and it's going to allow you to be more mobile and hopefully more active as well as a result of feeling that sort of cushion in your step, if you will.

So think of glycan as the big umbrella. Okay, a glycan is the big thing under which everything else falls. One of those things would be proteoglycans. So a proteoglycan is a glycan also, but it's different in its structure. The proteoglycan by itself has some really strong properties to help with mobility. And by itself, it's a very good mobility ingredient. What could make it better? Well, there have been two studies and these are good studies. These are placebo-controlled studies. And in the studies, they tried to have people just on the proteoglycan alone, the exact same one that we're using. And then they also had a group that had the proteoglycan combined with something called phosphatidylserine. Now you may see this listed in a lot of literature simply as PS, just the letters PS. So phosphatidylserine, what is it normally used for? Well, if you were going to look it up on the internet, and inevitably everyone will, you're going to find lots of references to brain function, memory function, cognitive function, and all of that's true. And that's what phosphatidylserine has been studied for the most. But everything in nutrition, so many people don't realize this, but everything in nutrition has at least one co-actor that makes it work better. So, what you want to do is find out what's that co-actor that you want to combine to ingredient A to get the maximum possible results from ingredient A. Well, as the studies went on, they found that what we want is phosphatidylserine or PS. So when you combine phosphatidylserine with this very special proteoglycan which is extracted from fish collagen, when you combine those two, the results go from good to great. You start as an example, proteoglycan alone, decent mobility results in about 30 days. Proteoglycan combined with phosphatidylserine, really significant results in four days. The majority of the people studied, not 100%, nothing's ever 100%. But the majority of the people studied, significant results in only four days. That's astounding. I mean, that's amazing.

So, this has got me pretty excited just because these results are so fast. And you know, in our industry, what really helps is if people can say, 'I feel the difference.' And the faster you feel the difference, the more likely you are to call up your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, and say, you know what, I really feel a difference with this stuff. In fact, I felt the difference with this in just a few days. So that makes it an even better product. Now, of course, as a healthcare practitioner, I'm very, very concerned about how does it function? How does it perform to help people with their health? And this clearly does. But on the other side of that, on the business side of that, feel-good products really help you build your business. There's no question about that. And there's no amount of literature, there's no amount of video that you can watch from some scientist like myself that will be as good as somebody calling up their friend and saying, 'You know what? Four days I felt terrific. You got to try this stuff. I don't know how it works. Who cares? It works.' So, that's what people will be saying when they use this product. Now, to be fair, they tested this product. They did the first test for results at four days and then at seven days and then at 14 days and then again at 30 days. And they saw different results as they moved up the scale. But the result of having the majority of people feeling the difference in their joints in only four days, that's astounding. I mean, that's something I've never heard of before.

Now, the Manapol in it, because we know, you know, I've been working with Manapol since 1995. I have so much confidence in that product because I've seen what it can do for all these years. If you want anything to work better, well, combine some Ambrotose or Manapol with it. If you want anything to have the full potential to function the way it was designed to function, you add Ambrotose or Manapol to it. That's what I've seen repeatedly for all of these decades. You don't want to sell something that anyone else can sell. That's boring and that's not a good way to build a business. But exclusivity, ah, science that nobody else has. Yes, that's what you want. That's the story. That's the way to tell people what you have. And it can be exciting for them, not just for me as a science guy. So, this is a great product, Glycan 4FX. It's just a super product for mobility. Realistically, people of probably over 40 are going to be saying, 'This is my product because I needed help with my mobility.' And of course, the older you go, the more people are going to say that. But I'm telling everyone, if you're smart, you should be doing this at a much younger age. Get a head start. It's going to be worth your while as you get older. It's hard to convince anybody of that if they're not older yet. But trust me on this. I'm an expert in this area. And of course, I am unfortunately older. And I have felt the difference. I can tell you the difference in my personal mobility that has changed from when I was 30, 40, and of course where I am now in my early 70s. Heck, I was a US Marine. There wasn't pretty much anything I couldn't do physically. Not really the case anymore. Now I do need some mobility assistance and this is a great product for that. I'm loving this product. I've been taking it myself. This has been tested, as I say, in placebo-controlled human tests, two of them.
