What Aaron Parnas said

Written from the verified transcript and checked against it. Every figure links to the moment it was said.

Aaron Parnas reported that the U.S. Supreme Court denied Missouri's emergency appeal, upholding the Missouri Supreme Court's ruling that the Republican-drawn 7-1 congressional map was unconstitutional, leaving the 6-2 map with two Democratic seats. He said Justice Kavanaugh issued the one-line denial, which he called a major loss for Trump and a narrowing of Mike Johnson's path to the speakership. Parnas noted the new lines will cause chaos because Missouri primaries already occurred under the old map, and that the second blue seat saves Democratic Congressman Emanuel Cleaver. He then played a clip of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez arguing Democrats have sought a gerrymandering ban for a decade while Republicans fought for partisan maps. Finally, he showed Luke Rael's interview with border czar Tom Homan, where Homan said ICE has not arrested anyone at a school, church, or hospital, but would remove anyone in the country illegally if found.

  1. 2:37What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia is you guys getting Democrats getting totally unconstitutional and wrong?

We have huge breaking news right now. The Trump administration was just handed a massive loss at the United States Supreme Court. Trump wanted the Supreme Court to emergency intervene. Intervene in Missouri. Why? Well, because in Missouri, the Missouri Supreme Court recently ruled that the Republican gerrymandered maps they redrew this year in an effort to eliminate a Democratic-held congressional seat were unconstitutional, and they said, 'You got to go back to the old map that had two Democratic seats.' Republicans wanted to eliminate one of those two, thinking that it would help Republicans secure the House majority. Missouri Supreme Court said, 'No, you can't do that.' And today, literally seconds ago, literally just hit my email inbox, the United States Supreme Court agreed with the Missouri Supreme Court saying, 'We're not going to get involved. We're not going to get involved in this emergency appeal. Missouri, you will have two Democratic members of Congress, not one. Mike Johnson, your path to a speakership is narrowing.' I'm getting this to you first. Make sure to hit that subscribe button, like, comment, share, get the word out. The more you do, the more people see.
Now, this is significant because here's what the Supreme Court just did. It's a simple one-line order. Application denied by Justice Kavanaugh. Breaking news: U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh denies Missouri's emergency appeal to use a 7-1 congressional map for 2026. Instead, you're going to have the 6-2 congressional map. Now, it will cause a little chaos, and Trump himself acknowledged that chaos because you already had primaries in Missouri. And so, the new district lines are going to be different than the district lines that they had primaries on. I mean, it's just a bit of a mess in Missouri. But ultimately, Democrats prevail and Trump loses because if you look at the old maps versus the new maps, so the old maps had one blue dot, the new maps have two blue dots. That second blue dot is significant. You no longer just have that St. Louis seat. You actually have another seat as well. And while this will save someone like Democratic Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, who was facing an almost certain loss in the 7-1 map versus the 6-2 map. So, here's what this essentially means for you. Well, Donald Trump wanted to gerrymander the hell out of Missouri. And while the gerrymandering effort of Republicans, it's backfired tremendously across the country because nearly every single gerrymander has either been matched by Democrats doing their own gerrymander or has been overturned by courts who say that the gerrymander is unlawful. When asked about gerrymandering, take a listen to what AOC says.

Okay. What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia is you guys getting Democrats getting totally unconstitutional and wrong?
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 2:48 ↗
Democrats have attempted and asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no. Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set. And so if the Republican party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They drew out in Texas. They redid Texas. What they're just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic party that rolls over, doesn't fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what they're mad at right now is that we are here in a new day, and we have been asking the Democratic party to stand up and fight, and now they did, and now the Republican party doesn't like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people. So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on nonpartisan, on nonpartisan, a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today, but they don't want to because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.
Aaron Parnas 4:12 ↗
And it's worked. It has worked significantly because Democrats have not only beaten Republicans in Congress and in the legislatures, but they've also beaten Republicans in the Supreme Court. Now, I do want to tell you about something that I saw today from my friend and colleague Luke Rael. He's been on the show before. He's the MeidasTouch White House correspondent. And I'm going to show you a video right now that I think everyone needs to see. It's about two to three minutes long. He's interviewing Tom Homan, Donald Trump's border czar. This is why we need independent media at the White House. Take a listen to Luke. He's asking the right questions.
Luke Rael 4:47 ↗
Mr. Homan, do you believe that ICE should be arresting parents in front of their children at school bus stops? Has ICE arrested parents at school bus stops in Bridgeport, Connecticut last week?
Tom Homan 4:57 ↗
Well, I'm not aware of that.
Luke Rael 4:59 ↗
Bottom line is, you know, are they in the country illegally? He was in the country illegally for 20 years, but did not commit any other crimes while in the interior of the United States. Is he removable? Is he in violation of law? Should he be arrested in front of his 16-year-old daughter at the school bus stop?
Tom Homan 5:15 ↗
I'm not aware of that. And the bottom line is if just because you...
Luke Rael 5:19 ↗
ICE confirmed it in the statement.
Tom Homan 5:20 ↗
Here's the, here's the issue. If a message you want to send the whole world: enter the country illegally, it's a crime. It's okay. If you get an order of removal, ignore it.
Luke Rael 5:28 ↗
What message does it send to children at school bus stops to see migrants arrested?
Tom Homan 5:32 ↗
Have a child and, and you're good to go. The law, the law means nothing to you anymore. If that's the message we send the whole world: enter the country, it's a crime, don't worry about it, have a U.S. citizen child and you're off the table. That's the message you want to send the whole world? The most vulnerable people put themselves in harm's way, like under the Biden administration where 4,000 aliens died making that journey. No, the law enforcement, it's, it's meaningful, and if you're in the country illegally, you got a problem.
Luke Rael 5:58 ↗
Is there anywhere that ICE won't arrest parents of children at the school, and in a hospital, and a church?
Tom Homan 6:03 ↗
Have we arrested somebody at a school?
Luke Rael 6:05 ↗
At a school bus stop in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Tom Homan 6:06 ↗
We arrested somebody at a school?
Luke Rael 6:08 ↗
I'm asking, is that a line for you to cross?
