Aaron Parnas reported on President Trump's angry response to an NBC reporter's question about an ad attacking Ohio Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton, which referenced her estranged mother and childhood sexual abuse. Parnas detailed a Vanity Fair report alleging Dutch government hacking of Jared Kushner's phone and suspicious money transfers from a Dubai account, which Trump dismissed as false. Parnas also discussed a lawsuit against Trump and World Liberty Financial for allegedly profiting from office, and a Justice Department lawsuit over Alaska's Senate race certification. In an interview with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Pritzker expressed optimism about Democratic chances in the House, Senate, and governor races, outlined a Democratic agenda including minimum wage increases and universal paid leave, and discussed Illinois' Fresh program replacing SNAP benefits. Pritzker declined to discuss a national run, focusing instead on electing a Democratic president.

Donald Trump is not a happy camper. He's erupting at an NBC reporter for asking him why he is covering up for an ad that invokes sexual abuse. The sexual abuse Amy Acton, the Democratic nominee for governor in Ohio, experienced when she was a child, comes as Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law, had a bombshell Vanity Fair piece written about him exposing a possible intelligence operation against Kushner and a lot of money being moved in the process. The president's not a happy camper. The Kushners are not a happy camper. And it comes all while the president is going to court to try to interfere with the upcoming election in Alaska. I spoke with Governor JB Pritzker from Illinois. In Illinois, we sat down together about all this and more. Make sure to subscribe if you can to support our work. Our reporting about Trump and Russia and what the military is hiding from you has ruffled a ton of feathers. Your subscriptions help fuel this work. Like, comment, share. And let's start with the president lashing out over the Amy Acton ad that Vivek Ramaswamy has put out.
Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican governor for Ohio, put out an ad that I'm sure all of you have seen by now, attacking Amy Acton using her mother, who has been estranged from Amy Acton since she was 12 years old. Amy Acton was removed from her mother's home because her mother's ex-husband, who has now since passed away, sexually abused Amy Acton, and her and her brother were taken out of that home. And yet Ramaswamy and Trump want to use her mother, who she hasn't spoken to in decades, against her. And today, when pressed on that, he erupted at a reporter.

A mother is saying, don't put my daughter there because she's a terrible person and she's a liar. Why shouldn't somebody use that?
NBC Reporter 1:49 ↗
But do the sexual abuse allegations?
Donald Trump 1:55 ↗
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Slow down. Who you with? Who you with?
NBC Reporter 1:58 ↗
I'm with NBC, sir.
Donald Trump 1:59 ↗
The one of the worst networks you have.
NBC Reporter 2:01 ↗
But there are sexual abuse allegations.
Donald Trump 2:04 ↗
Quiet.
NBC Reporter 2:04 ↗
They make to you.
Donald Trump 2:07 ↗
Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you? If my mother said bad things about me, do you think the Democrats would put it up? I think so. But my mother thought I was wonderful. Thank you, Mom. My mother would never, even if she thought them, she would never say this is a person, a mother, a smart woman. I watch smart woman. She said her daughter is a disaster. Her daughter is a liar. And she felt that she had an obligation. And she also said her daughter lied about her opponent, which is Vivek Ramaswamy. Uh, if I had that ad, I should be so lucky to have an ad like that. Why wouldn't you listen to a mother that says that? Why? Why would you miss NBC? Why wouldn't you listen? Wait a minute. Quiet. You have a, I don't know anything about a stepfather. All you have...
NBC Reporter 2:58 ↗
his stepdaughter.
Donald Trump 3:00 ↗
This one just keeps talking.
NBC Reporter 3:00 ↗
1978, sir.
Donald Trump 3:02 ↗
You just keep talking.
NBC Reporter 3:02 ↗
Answering you, sir.
Donald Trump 3:03 ↗
You have a, I don't know anything about stepfathers from many, many years ago. I know that recently a mother got on television and said that her daughter should not be governor of Ohio, and she said, 'I love my daughter, but my daughter lies all the time and lied about her opponent, and I can't watch it.' And the mother got up. This has nothing to do with the stepfather or anything else. This has to do with the fact that a woman got out, the mother of a person running for governor of one of the greatest states where I set records, and said that she's a liar. Her daughter's a liar. She said her daughter lied about Vivek. And...
Aaron Parnas 3:46 ↗
So he's not happy for some reason. Asking, talking about child sex abuse gets under his skin this much, and he wants Vivek to double down, triple down on it. And while his own family is facing significant heat, Vanity Fair released this from Matthew Cole, a writer and journalist, who says that the Dutch government hacked into Jared Kushner's phone, monitoring it as he accessed a Dubai-based bank account. What was odd, according to a source, was that the money in the account, hundreds of millions of dollars, had come from a bank in Azerbaijan. Kushner appeared to have transferred significant amounts of money from the Dubai account to other individuals, including a warlord, a mercenary, and a one-time hitman. And yet, six months later, Cole says he found himself talking to someone else from the UAE government and their use of mercenaries in conflicts around the Middle East and Africa. And when he asked on a whim whether they knew anything about the Kushners and the bank transfer from a UAE account, the acquaintance grew quiet and replied yes. Kushner's lawyer has denied all of the allegations. And the president is also denying all of the allegations, but he's not happy that reporters are even asking about it. Book out that says Jared Kushner had access to $2 billion from Middle Eastern countries.
Donald Trump 4:53 ↗
It's a false story.
Aaron Parnas 4:54 ↗
It's a false story. Don't know anything about that.
Donald Trump 4:56 ↗
No, it's a totally false story. It was totally an incorrect story. It was just fake news.
