From a man named Lev Parnas. Ukrainian-born businessman Lev Parnas.
Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas. Prosecutors now say that he is a, quote, significant flight risk.
Parnas and Fruman were arrested. I don't know those gentlemen. I don't even know who this man is. I don't know those gentlemen. I don't know about them. I don't know what they do. You're saying that was not a true statement from the president. He lied. Well, I don't know him. Federal prosecutors to revoke bail for Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas went on an all-out media blitz.
All right, we got you. There we have it. My son, Aaron Parnas, welcome to the Lev Parnas show from the Parnas perspective.
That sounds pretty pretty cool, though. The Parnas perspective, Lev Parnas show. Can you imagine we would be doing this in your in any time of your life? Tell me honestly, Aaron, did you ever imagine that neither one of you, I could never imagine. You were so shy. I can't imagine you being out there. But did you imagine me and you would be involved in politics and media?
Definitely never never wanted that, no.
Never wanted it. I want to just say start off with saying to you, listen, you know how proud I am of you. I'm not going to make you blush. I'm not going to sit here talk about your achievements. Everybody here, we have today an incredible crowd. We have over almost a thousand people now on KICK. We have almost a thousand people on Substack. We have all these platforms and I want to thank you really. I know that independent journalism is extremely important to you and I know you don't take sides. You don't go on... It's different. I love you guys, but we're not we're going to shake a little later because I want Aaron's time is right now very short. I want to spend some time getting to some important stuff.
So, I want to thank you for helping me make this crossover to get to the other side because as we know where there's 11 days left for these elections and these are the most consequential elections of our lifetime. Probably the most important as we talk even though though not the presidential elections. I want to start off before we go into anything else, I want to thank you and for your incredible piece you did today. For those of you that didn't watch, I just want to put it up here. Aaron, you're not going to see it, but I'm going to share it with everybody. Make sure you go to Aaron the partner's perspective, folks. If you have not, I'm sure you're all already subscribed, but Aaron did a deep dive today into Russia's 50 years of getting close to Donald Trump. Folks, you need to go listen to this, watch it. It's extremely important. He breaks it all down. He talks about people here, names that you've heard me talk about time from the Semion Mogilevich's, the the from David the Bogatins. These are people that I grew up in the world. You hear all the time. Aaron broke it down to you today that is extremely important to see the influence because what is coming next is a very important. So, please everybody, if you haven't yet, make sure you go to the partner's perspective and and get that take a look. Loza, can you put us back on the screen? So, Aaron, let's start off with this. The reason why I wanted you and why it's so important for for you here. So,
As you know, I've I've been making this move to try to cross over to the other side to reach out over to independents, to reach over to other Republicans and even some mega to be able to speak truth to power as being one of them as an insider to be able to to to get them out to vote, to be able and not to vote for Donald Trump to be able to save our democracy. One of the things that, you know, I've always had problems with and you know, and that's why I I look up to you and Mom is because you guys opened my eyes. A, Mom helped me with listening and understanding women because I grew up in a different generation. And you opened my eyes about the young, the Gen Z, how, you know, to speak to listen, to speak to you and not at you and not demand. And and we went through a lot of hard times ourselves and that's not, you know, and I'm glad that I could speak openly and say it helped I think me to understand a lot and not only in our relationship but also to be able to help and reach out to the other side.
So, Tuesday I'm going to University of Florida. And Tuesday I'm going to be in... The reason I'm going there is because you know Myron Gaines, I'm sure. Myron Gaines, he's a you know, anti-Semitic, misogynistic garbage that goes out there. He's part of the Tate brothers. He He's there one of their disciples and he is now doing a tour going around colleges spew basically spewing anti... You know what? Let me just quickly Can you Loza put it up? Just give me a quick so everybody can see who this Myron Gaines is so they understand who we're talking about. Loza, can you put up that 15 second second clip of him?
So, for those of you guys aren't familiar Myron Gaines, one half of the Fresh Fit podcast. Women are stupid, blacks are criminals, Jews have too much goddamn power in America is an issue, Indians stink, are mentally ill. Did I say what they are? And yeah, so we're going to have a discussion. Today's topic is going to be the Cornell 7. They did nothing wrong legally. And that girl Jane Doe is a hoe. And quite frankly, women can't take accountability for their actions. If you disagree with that point, feel free to come on up.
Blacks hates Indians, hates women, women you know, all that misogynistic and that nasty stuff. This is the guy I'm going to debate. My debate is first of all, I you know, I have some things I want to talk to him obviously about Jews and stuff he has but My My My question to you is when I'm going to be at the university, I'm going to be in line first of all with a lot of different young folks that are going to be standing there. Some of most of them are going to be anti-Myron. They're going to be trying to get to the mic. Some of them going to be pro-Myron. Some of them... What is... While I'm there and while I'm speaking waiting to get up there, give me some ideas. So, how can I reach out to Gen Z? What How do I speak to them? How do I How do I relate and give them try to give them What are you seeing like, you know, to be able to give them the truth and turn them away by by being an insider, by not just giving them an opinion, by by by by telling him, "Listen, I was one of you, Donald Trump. He lied to you. He lied to me." I'm going to shut up and let you talk, but you know what I'm saying.
Yeah, I mean, listen, I think the biggest thing is just to talk to them, not at them. I think don't try to go in there thinking that you're right about everything and that you know everything and don't make it seem like you know everything. Really just try to hear from them directly and have a conversation rather than try to talking at them. I think that's the biggest thing is you're you're obviously not Gen Z, you're a little older. And so, you got to come across in a way not like a father talking to a son or a parent talking to a kid, but just as an equal in a way. And so, you have to talk to them, not at them. That's the most important thing.
And I'm hearing you. We just had Jojo on also, Jojo from The Gers right before you, and she gave me the same exact advice, talking to the to the young women standing in line. Listen, and then you always been telling me, Mom, you you guys have been always telling me, Dad, listen listen more, you know, and and I was always stuck in my old ways, and that's why it's difficult, but I've learned a lot, and I'm seeing that, and I think it's extremely important, and I think that's what you are saying. We all need to learn that. We all need to learn that we need to listen. We need to listen not only to the opposite sex. We also need to listen to the the young generation. Because a lot of these, if you think about it, Aaron, a lot of the kids that are going to be voting right now, a lot of these young people, uh were like 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 years old when, you know, all of this was going on, all of the craziness with Donald Trump. So, they really only know the Donald Trump that has emerged when he came into crypto, when he came in with the Aiden Rosses, when he came in when he took Tik Tok over by storm and be They don't really know the Donald Trump and the past history and because of that one of the things I think you do a lot of reporting is how Donald Trump tries to destroy history. Have you seen this that as one of the problems as as as why Gen Z might not because they they don't have what to look look at because you know, right now they're in between where you have the president of the United States that says January 6th was not an insurrection. And when we know it was an insurrection. So, how how how do Gen Z what what is your experience with the young generation? What are they looking at that and how can I puncture through that?
Well, I don't I don't think young people care about the insurrection that much. I mean, I don't think young people care about crypto corruption that much. I think what young people care about is whether they can have a stable job, whether they can afford to buy a home, whether they can afford to go get groceries, whether they can afford to go get gas. That's what young people care about, whether they can afford to go to school without being stuck with a ton of student debt after leaving. And so, if we can't solve that problem, then they're not going to go one step further and say, "Why should I care about January 6th insurrection or Trump profiting off the presidency?" I mean, those are all a little more niche and if you're a young kid on the college campus, your first first thought and your first kind of priority right now is just to get through the next four years and be able to leave college and make a sound living and be able to afford to live your life. That's what they care about and so, appealing directly to the issues that matter to them rather than issues that you may think matter to a lot of people is the way to go.
I I think that's really important and I think that's what something I have to work on also because I think one of the things that I when I approach some of these younger individuals and we get into the debates, I start trying to go back into the history and a lot of them I don't think really care and I think you make a really good point there that a lot of the young generation right now, especially with the gas prices going up, with... One second. Loiza, can you email the link to Svetlana for Alexander for 2:00? I apologize, so he could have the link so he could join. I apologize. I think one of the the important things that you're saying is exactly right that we need to I need to also concentrate and we all need to concentrate on the important parts. Most of Americans, not only the young generation, care about, you know, how they're going to pay the rent, how they're going to, you know, send their kids to school, how are they going to be able to buy a house. And the one thing that we're seeing the, you know, percentages and, you know, statistics back in, you know, the '80s and '90s, you know, the young generation were were more to they were they were they were better to to outproduce the older generation. What we're seeing now is the opposite. Am I correct, Aaron? Are we seeing that right now less people could buy a house, less young people can afford certain things, and less young people are doing better than the previous generation because of certain things happening? Can you talk a little bit about that?
Of course. I mean, it's not even about certain things happening. I think the older generation really set up the younger generation to fail. We think that historically politicians have not appealed to young people, have not worked to make the lives of young people better. They've worked to enrich themselves rather than to enrich or rather than to help younger people. For years we've heard, "Oh, we're going to make housing more affordable. We're going to build more housing." That's not actually happening on the federal level. We hear all the time, "We're going to make sure college is affordable for young people." Okay, the college is the least affordable right now than we've ever seen it in in history. And student debt is rising at a rapid pace. And instead of lowering student debt costs, the administration currently is going to start going after students in default and and garnishing their wages. And so I think it's it's an it's a it's a systemic issue. It's not just an issue of the past 18 months. It's not an issue of the past 10 years ever since Trump joined politics. It's it's a much larger and longer issue and it's why young people haven't voted that much in the past and that's changing because they think that they think that they can change and we're electing more young people now across the country, but it's going to take a while. It really is.
No, I agree with you. And I know your your your time is short. You have a lot going on. Before we let you go and a lot of things I I want to get give us some of the breaking news. Give us the partners perspective. Share it with us, give us a five What are you What What's been going to happening today? Folks that didn't see it give us a little bit of updating news with the elections, with the midterms. Give us some good and bad what's happening before you go, Aaron.
Yeah, so the Trump administration sued in Alaska to preemptively block the certification of the Alaska Senate race if Dan Sullivan, the current Republican senator, loses and loses by a margin because in Alaska there are two Dan Sullivans on the ballot, one a public school teacher, one the Republican senator. And if the public school teacher gets enough votes such that if you took those votes and gave it to Dan Sullivan and he would have won, then they want to preemptively essentially prevent certification of that race. That's not going to work. I actually just spoke to someone involved in that case. It's not going to work. It's just it's a frivolous lawsuit. Quest Diagnostics was hacked. Patient data was accessed by a hacker. So millions of people's data's out there. Trump erupted at a female reporter in the White House confronting him on the Amy Acton ad from the Dr. Oz Mehmet Oz ad. So that happened. It's actually been a relatively slow news day surprisingly. We have the Iran war is about to heat up again we just we're pulling people out of the Middle East and who knows he's he's at a rally in Florida today so we'll see how...
Yeah we'll see how that well talk talk to me a little bit about the the Swami that that ad I mean Jojo was just on here we it was so emotional I mean I mean I know Trump very well and even I'm surprised at the that's going on right now I mean besides Trump and Vance nobody's doubling down on this I mean what do you can you give us a little bit more reporting on this and and and what are some of the Republic because I know there's a major Republican backlash happening on this also can you talk a little bit more about that Aaron
Yeah I mean there was major Republican backlash and today there's a clip that just got released by Amy Acton's team showing that Ramaswamy yesterday was confronted at a child care center in Ohio and essentially said that it was I have the quote right here Amy Acton was quote flawed for being a survivor of child abuse that is a flaw of hers
Listen, I I think that at the end of the day what they're banking on it's a bit of a Hail Mary here. I wouldn't be surprised if it works in a little in certain parts of Ohio where if you don't know anything about the governor's race, you don't know who's running, you don't know who's on the ballot, and all you see is a governor's candidate's mother going on television saying she's a liar and you shouldn't vote for her. Yeah, I could see how someone is looks at that and says, yeah, I would never vote for her if I know nothing about Amy Acton, if I know nothing about politics, if I know nothing about what's happening. And there probably are one or two people out there, but the overwhelming majority do know what's happening. And I think this ad is going to backfire. And I if I had to guess, I think Amy Acton will be the next governor of Ohio.
Amen, I'm with you on that Aaron. And I have a little surprise before you go for you. Yeah, just a little surprise. Want to say to you a lot of people know your story. They know how you... it's a good surprise, don't be scared. Aaron gets worried about that when that's a surprise. He doesn't know what what to expect. I promise, but I just wanted to say to you that I I told everybody the story about how you were a lawyer, how you became independent journalist, the story, and one of your passions and you write about is Ukraine. You have family in Ukraine. You talk about Russia and everything. So, you know, we do the voice from Ukraine. I know you're so busy. We're so busy. We hardly ever get a chance to see each other. I wanted to just somebody wanted to say hello to you before you go. That's going to be joining us right now. Hold on. Can we bring this person up to say... Losa? How do I bring him up? One second. There we go. There we go.
How are you?
How are you, how are you, Aaron?
