Aaron Parnas reported that armed Homeland Security agents are going door to door in at least six states, asking about immigration status and voter registration, under a criminal voter fraud initiative. He noted that only 156 people have been charged with voting fraud since Trump took office, while a whistleblower claimed employees were given quotas of 40 people a day. Parnas covered voting machine issues in Tennessee, where some voters reported selections switching to Republican candidates. He interviewed Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, who discussed her reelection race against Andy Biggs, election security in Maricopa County, her second-term priorities including education funding and groundwater protection, and her efforts to lower costs for Arizonans. Hobbs said she has been outspent three to one since Labor Day and that Turning Point and Arizona Republicans have put $20 million into attack ads.

Armed federal agents are now knocking on Americans' doors. They're asking about immigration status. They're asking whether people are registered to vote, whether they voted in past elections. They're carrying a document labeled 'target list.' This is happening right now in at least six states, less than two weeks before the midterm elections. Meanwhile, voters in Tennessee and elsewhere are sounding the alarm on their own front. They're clicking the candidate they want to vote for on election machines, and they're telling the public that the election machine is changing their vote to the Republican candidate. It comes as Donald Trump's approval just hit a record low. Russia is literally posting 'checkmate' over Trump's moves in Ukraine, and JD Vance is telling Republicans, 'You got to stop whining about one of the ugliest ads of the year concerning Dr. Amy Acton, posted by Vivek Ramaswamy.'
It's an important update, and you all need to be aware of what's happening right now in real time. I interview Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs in this, because Arizona is the swing state when it comes to elections, and we saw all of the efforts in 2020 to try to interfere with the election in Arizona. And well, Katie Hobbs says, 'Not on my watch.' Tomorrow, I'm going to be releasing my deep dive into Trump's ties to Russia going back nearly 50 years, covering Soviet bloc files, the Russian money, the secret Moscow Tower, the 2016 campaign, and everything else. Make sure to subscribe. Support this work. I can only do it with your support.
Today, we learned from a new CBS News investigation. This right here: uniformed Homeland Security agents, many of them armed, have begun going door to door in multiple states, asking residents about their immigration status and whether they've registered or voted. Internal documents describe a criminal voter fraud initiative with field reviews in at least six states: California, Georgia, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Washington, and Wisconsin. Four of those states have major races on the ballot. In Georgia, you have the Senate race and the governor's race. In Pennsylvania, a governor's race. In Wisconsin, a governor's race. In California, a governor's race, and major congressional races across the state.
Hundreds of them were pulled off those cases, reassigned to this. Official HSI accounts are posting photos of agents at people's doors with captions like, 'American elections are for Americans.' One photo shows four agents on the porch of a woman holding a child's hand. In California, agents arrested a 72-year-old man from BISE, taking him from his home forcibly in his pajamas. Former HSI agents are saying that in 20-plus years on the job, they've never seen anything like it. Never once had agents been sent to private homes to check whether someone was eligible to vote.
So why is this happening? Well, DHS claims as many as 250,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote. Election experts dispute that. And let's look at the actual numbers. Since Donald Trump took office, just 156 people have been charged with voting fraud-related offenses. There are 227 million registered voters in this country. A whistleblower at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services says employees were given quotas—40 people a day. That's about 12 minutes to decide whether someone is on a list. And we've seen how accurate, or lack thereof, these lists are. DHS has claimed it found nearly 16,000 non-citizens on Nevada's voter rolls, but couldn't provide evidence of a single illegally registered voter. In California, Los Angeles officials found that a list sent by the Justice Department included a high percentage of people born in the United States.
So when armed agents are showing up at your door with a target list, and the list keeps turning out to be full of citizens, who do you think gets scared? A lawyer for Protect Democracy, which is suing over this, put it plainly: 'It seems maximally designed to scare lawful voters from participating.' DHS says people who are here illegally have nothing to fear. Know your rights. If anyone tries to intimidate you, report it.
Now, there are some other voting issues you should know about, and I want to be careful here. In Tennessee, some early voters, including Dolly Parton's sister, Stella Parton, say that the machine kept switching their selection to Republican Marsha Blackburn. Voters in Williamson County described the same thing.

It would auto-select the other candidate that's going against them. They said it took them at least three tries to get the name of the person they wanted to vote for on their ballot.
Jackie Herod has voted in Tennessee her whole life, but has never had an experience quite like she did last week at early voting.
Jackie Herod 4:40 ↗
I kept punching for the Democrat, Jerry Green, and it kept punching back to Marsha Blackburn.
Reporter 4:50 ↗
She says she tried to vote Democrat on her ballot, but the machine kept punting back to Republican challengers.
Jackie Herod 4:50 ↗
It just, you know, really kind of irritated me, and then I was very nervous about making sure that my vote was going to be counted right.
Reporter 5:05 ↗
At the Longview Rec Center in Spring Hill, she says she spoke with poll workers who had heard of similar complaints, and it wasn't the only location in Williamson County where we learned of this being an issue.
Voter 5:15 ↗
You try to push the button for the candidate that you're selecting, and it goes to another candidate.
Reporter 5:20 ↗
Tony Fitzgerald voted at another Williamson County location and was dealt the same card.
Tony Fitzgerald 5:20 ↗
I think about older people, or the elderly that are in the booth that are trying to, you know, vote. They could make that mistake.
Reporter 5:32 ↗
The state has multiple safeguards to mitigate any voting issue. So if you are heading to the ballot box soon, make sure you're doing your due diligence, taking your time, and making the choices you want to on your ballot.
Aaron Parnas 5:44 ↗
That's the most important thing right there. There is no evidence of widespread voter manipulation happening right now. People are seeing issues with voting machines in states like Tennessee. These issues have popped up in the past before. Now, are they important? Of course. And you need to be mindful when you go to the polls, especially when you're voting on these electronic machines. What you're clicking—make sure that the person you're clicking is the person you want to vote for, and then double-check it and triple-check it. And if you have an issue with it, submit a complaint. Submit a complaint, and make sure that that complaint is registered with the election officials. That is important right now. In San Antonio, in Bexar County, there is a backlog of voter registrations as well, by the way, affecting 130,000 voters. You don't need that card to vote. You can use any of the seven accepted forms of ID. Some ballots were missing school district measures, which officials have said they were fixed within an hour. So check your ballot before you submit, because once it's cast, it's cast, and there's nothing more you can do about it.
Here's the bottom line. The president right now is at record lows, and armed agents are showing up at voters' doors with target lists. The goal isn't to find fraud. The numbers show there's very little. The goal is to make people afraid to vote. Don't let it work. If you're eligible, you have the right to vote. Make your plan. Check your ballot. Bring your family and your friends. On election night, I'll be covering all of this from 6:00 p.m. to midnight Eastern time on all platforms, with big guests coming in all the time. Now, I spoke with Katie Hobbs about election integrity, election security, and so much more. It's a conversation you do not want to miss. So here's my conversation with Katie Hobbs. But first, a quick word from our sponsor.
Election day is literally right around the corner. These elections are the most important elections of our lifetime, and I have made it my mission on this channel to make sure that you have the ability—full ability—to go and make your voice heard, to go vote at the polls. There are so many critical issues right now that are going to impact so many Americans. No matter where you are, there is an important election on the ballot, and every one of the decisions that we cover on a day-to-day basis was made by someone who won an election. So hold on to that. The people who get to decide this, well, they're on the ballot on November 3rd, and you need to make sure that you can make your voice heard.
So what do you do to actually do that? Pull up Vote E. It's free, it's nonpartisan, and most importantly, it never sells your data. I've used it, and I think it's great. It'll allow you to check your voter registration, find your local polling place, show you your ballot ahead of time so you can educate yourself before you even get into the voting booth, and then it'll text you when it's time to vote. It's powered by NextGen America, and it's truly amazing because it's not selling your data like Elon Musk does. It's not trying to acquire your information for nefarious reasons. That's not it. And I've used this, which is why I'm trying to tell you about it. It helps you literally just go and make your voice heard. The link is in the description and pinned in the comments. Make your plan before you close this tab. It is so important.
Now, my conversation with Governor Hobbs. Excited today to be joined by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs. Now, Governor, I got to jump right in because we are less than two weeks away from election day, and I feel like no one talks about the fact that you're on the ballot right now for reelection in Arizona. How are things going?
Katie Hobbs 9:04 ↗
I feel good about this race. I feel good about Democrats across the state, but races for Democrats in Arizona are tough. Our electorate is plus nine Republican. So we are pushing hard to the finish line. We're not taking a single thing for granted, and we're seeing our internal polling tighten right now. So we're making sure that we're getting out to every corner of the state and making sure voters know what is at stake in this election.
