Now, one of the considerations that is super important as you build out infrastructure today is sovereignty. In fact, I would say sovereignty at a firm level, with models that you control and learning loops you control, is probably the most important sovereignty consideration today. But beyond that, you also want sovereignty on infrastructure, and that's where we have built out this continuum. I think of sovereignty as something that you should think of as a portfolio, where you have a public cloud with sovereign controls, you have private clouds for sovereignty, and you also have fully sovereign partner ecosystem clouds. And so all of those are part of a portfolio of choices that you want when it comes to your infrastructure. We're very excited about all the advances. In fact, today there is a massive upgrade to a lot of the sovereign capabilities, things like in the public cloud itself.
Now you have these very features that are all about tamper resistance, right? You have something like a data guardian that checks and ensures the data that is in region is always guarded. In fact, if anyone touches your production system, you have a ledger that allows you to check what was touched, why it was touched, fully auditable, and it's tamperproof.
You have external key management, right? So even all the data can be encrypted, and the keys themselves are managed locally, even when you're using a public cloud. Complete confidential computing, clean rooms, right? So you can in fact, even once you have confidential computing, even in use, everything is encrypted. And so you have also now the ability for fully disconnected control planes. So you now have Azure Local plus Foundry Local plus GitHub Enterprise. So you put those things together, you're able to have fully disconnected local operations for a set of workloads. And of course we have a very rich ecosystem of partners around sovereignty. And in that context, we're very, very excited that now Bleu is available in France for all of the public sector and regulated industry. It's obviously something that we worked very, very hard on with our partners Capgemini and Orange, and now we finally have this available. And so we are excited to see that as another option on top of everything else that we're doing on private cloud as well as the public cloud.
To show you all of this, I wanted to invite up on stage Stuart to just give you a flavor for even the new control plane we have for you to be able to look at all the sovereignty options across the public, the private, and your local partner cloud. So with that, Stuart, over to you.
