Good evening everyone. Dear friends, the election result, although not yet complete, is understandable and clear. The election result is painful for us, but unambiguous. The responsibility and opportunity of governing were not given to us. I congratulated the winning party. To you, I thank you for the enormous amount of work. Never before have so many people worked so hard in a single election campaign. And it shows, because we managed to gather 5 million voters. Two and a half million people trusted us today as well. Dear friends, I especially thank the overwhelming support that came from beyond our borders, and we send a message to those beyond our borders that they can count on us in the future as well.
Dear friends, what this evening's election result means for the fate of our country and our nation, and what its deeper or higher meaning is, we do not know now. Time will decide that. But however it turned out, we will serve our country and the Hungarian nation from the opposition as well.
Dear friends, the task before us is clear. The weight of governing does not weigh on our shoulders, so our job now is to strengthen our communities. 500,000 voters trusted us. Let us send them a message from here: we will never let them down.
And perhaps I don't even need to say it, since we have been together here for more than 30 years. We have lived through difficult and easy, beautiful and sad years. But one thing everyone in this room and the entire country can know: we never give up. Never, never, never, we never give up.
These days ahead of us are still about healing wounds, but then the work begins again, and in this work, I count on everyone, all of you, on all 2.5 million of our voters. Ladies and gentlemen! I wish you all much strength, good health, and may God grant us all more beautiful evenings, Hungary above all. Go Hungary! Go Hungarians!
Good night everyone.
I cry with the little birds.
Those will be disproven who are the youngest.
We know that.
That's it. Good, I have paradise.
Need.
To you, to you, and not.
Ah.
