Good morning and welcome to this morning's call. This is our monthly health, wellness, and Dr. Nugent call. We normally do this the first Saturday of the month, but due to Easter and other commitments, we have moved it to today. So, welcome and thank you for joining.
Now this morning we are going to hear from Mannatech's Chief Science Officer, Dr. Steve Nugent, who has more than 40 years of experience in the area of integrative medicine. He has tested more than 6,000 dietary supplement products and formulated more than 100. He is internationally recognized as an expert in his field and has been teaching doctors for more than 30 years. He is Mannatech's most requested speaker worldwide.
Dr. Nugent has earned multiple degrees, graduating with top honors at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels. His areas of study include integrative medicine, health and wellness psychology, leadership psychology, organizational psychology, neuropsychology, biological anthropology, nutrition science, and business administration.
Dr. Nugent has served as president of the International Association of Complementary Medicine and is the president emeritus of the American Naturopathic Medical Association. He's also a professional member of the American College of Nutrition. Now, Dr. Nugent was awarded the Servant's Heart Award by Mannatech Associates back in 2007, and I'm sure if they had the opportunity to vote for him every year, they would.
Now, Dr. Nugent was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He has served his country with honor as a US Marine, and he has resided in Texas for more than two decades, but now resides in sunny Florida, where temperatures are still as warm but probably a little bit more humid. Good morning, Chenade. And yes, you're right. Sunny Florida, boy. It sure gets sunny here and it gets plenty humid here. It's subtropical. We have our gators and we have our crocodiles. Nothing as impressive as a salty, of course.
