Now, welcome to all of you, brothers. The monsoon is also showing some benefits, and the Monsoon Session is also beginning. Whether it is the monsoon or the Monsoon Session, if both are proactive, they are very productive. And when both are productive, the welfare of the nation happens, the welfare of all living beings happens. Therefore we pray that the monsoon remains proactive, and the Monsoon Session also remains productive.
Comrades, in the past one month, the country has achieved many accomplishments. And the citizens of the country are filled with pride. Such a series of accomplishments has been going on. Be it national, international, and now even space. In a way, these have been moments of pride for India.
Last year, just before the Monsoon Session, an Indian citizen reached the International Space Station. And just yesterday or the day before, a young Indian startup achieved a great feat. There are very few countries in the world where such private ventures have happened. The youth of India have taken a new flight into space. It is a great success. And this startup is Skyroot. The young people working in it, I was told the average age of their entire team is just 28 years. Such young people have done this work. I am not talking about a 56-year-old young man. I am talking about the youth of the country. This startup, with an average age of 28, has planted India's flag in space. They deserve congratulations.
But such things fill India with confidence. In the world, India's profile is becoming universally accepted and recognized. Comrades, this is not a coincidence; it is a message. And a very strong message that the capability and aspiration of our country's youth are as limitless as space. No message or inspiration bigger than this can be given to the country.
Comrades, the result of the country boarding the reform express and moving forward is that the youth of India are able to muster such courage and are also achieving success.
Comrades, in the past few days, a very large oil refinery was dedicated to the nation in Rajasthan. A few weeks earlier, a semiconductor plant, the third one, was dedicated to the country. Just a few days ago, a train running on green hydrogen was dedicated, and very few countries in the world have this facility. But the hydrogen train that India has dedicated to its citizens has the most powerful engine and is the longest. This in itself is the result of India's scientists, engineers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and workers living and working for the country with a common goal.
Comrades, we know very well, and the whole world is also worried. Continuously, somewhere or the other, war-like situations keep arising. Due to the war in West Asia, countries like India that are dependent on others for energy, this war became a major cause of crisis. In every aspect – petrol, diesel, LPG, fertilizers, chemicals – many obstacles and crises came. Despite that, India has remained the fastest-growing major economy in the world with a growth rate of 7.7%. This is indicative of India's strength. It shows how India wants to cross new heights with enthusiasm and vigor.
And in such times, when this Monsoon Session is beginning, the country has picked up speed, and the spirit of Parliament can infuse new energy into that speed. A positive spirit is very essential to achieve the nation's goals. Our House has many experienced MPs. Whatever their party, they have long experience. At such a time, Parliament needs their experience and knowledge, and the country also needs it. And for this, Parliament must function, meaningful discussions must happen, and resolutions to take the country forward together must be taken. I believe this is the need of the hour. The youths of the country, full of aspirations, demand that we move forward.
Today, the need of the hour is that voices filled with national loyalty and patriotism get a proper platform in the House. They should raise their voice and give direction to the country. Therefore, I hope and I firmly believe that where there are facts, where there is logic, there is no place for storms. If the logic is strong and the facts are strong, then one can raise one's voice even with a calm mind. I hope that discussions in the House will be enriched with logic and facts. Every voice should get an opportunity. Every idea should get respect. That is our role in Parliament. I invite all MPs to participate actively in this House. This morning, the Speaker has also expressed his sentiments of welcoming the country's MPs through social media. I join my voice with his. Thank you all very much. Namaskar.
