I just want to touch base with everybody with a little video. Um, over the weekend I saw... Well, first of all, let's address what's going on right now, like with Trump banning the networks from coming to the White House. This is all like, he's really in panic mode. Trump is really in panic mode. I mean, this is a guy who has got a real creepy 'what about my legacy' kind of like jones for, oh, let's destroy the Rose Garden. Let's, yeah, literally pave over it. And then let's, um, what? There's a helipad coming. Uh, and then of course the East Wing and the ballroom, and let's do that. And now we've got not the smaller arch, we want a bigger arch. And then the Kennedy Center. What the actual [__]? Am I allowed to use that language? I mean, it's such a kid zone now. It's like Disney up in here. Um, yeah. What the actual [__]? It's creepy. It's really, I mean, ask not what President Trump can do to you. Ask what you can do to President Trump. And what you can do is vote. That's right. So that's the one big power we've got other than organizing in the streets. Um, oh god, it's never ending. Um, organizing in the streets. Um, and, uh, yeah, vote. Just vote.
I can't wait until this nightmare is over. He really is the worst president. Our reputation around the world is tanking. We have destroyed relationships with allies, like long-term allies. Uh, we have destroyed our credibility around the world. No one can take them seriously. No one knows how to take him. Um, you know, Canada, we're going to pick a fight with Canada. [__] you. Um, yeah, these are, these are creepy times and I can't wait till it's over. And it's like, it's sad that our biggest hope is like a heart attack or falling down the steps up to Air Force One and just taking a tumble. Or like literally, wouldn't it be hilarious if he like died out in the open and because he banned all the networks from coming to cover him, it wasn't caught on camera. Anyway, um, the worst president in US history. This is so embarrassing. This is so embarrassing. I can't wait till this stressful time is over. We can get some smarter people in charge, get some smarter government, people can have a little prosperity, start paying some bills, affording food, gas, all the things, and get the [__] out of this war. Good God. And lose this dumb quest to have one's name on everything. We're in the, we're in, this is the worst president. This is the worst presidency in US history. We're like, I, God, if you had told me, I don't know, 10 years ago, yeah, George, during your lifetime you are going to have to endure not one but two, admitted two presidencies from the worst guy who ever took the job. God, the worst. Embarrassing. Really embarrassing. So, vote. Make sure your stuff is in order, your, um, you know, your mail and stuff is all set. Like, just vote. Just vote. Vote. Vote. Vote. Vote. Vote. Vote. He's paranoid, too. Like, this whole, um, freak out about, um, uh, you know, he knows he's, he knows the midterms are going to be a bloodbath, like clearly, and he's behaving in a real, like this is Trump panic mode. That's what this feels like.
Yeah. Now, I read, and this is unconfirmed and maybe some people know better, that Fox News is joining, uh, their, uh, colleagues from other networks and just not going to show up at the White House. Is this true? The Washington bureau, the head of the Washington or the White House, the guy who runs Fox News's White House coverage sent out a memo apparently. It's like, 'No, we're not going either.' Um, I read that on Threads this morning. Um, you know, I really did not bargain for all these kids in the park today. It's so distracting. I come to the park, think I'm going to have a nice adult conversation with you sexy people, but it's kids' day. Anyway, um, yeah. Yeah. Ran McMenemy, you have read that as well, but cannot verify. Yeah, nor can I. I mean, we'll know soon enough, but it would be extra sexy, you know, if Fox News... Well, Kara Swisher, uh, reposted something, quote, posted something on Threads, and Kara's pretty good at sticking to stuff that's actually confirmed. So, I'm going to assume that like it's somewhat verified. Anyway, so just vote like your country depends on it, because it does. Vote like your country depends on it. Because it does. Yeah.
Would have thought that your tech oligarchs who are making money hand over fist, you would have thought your tech oligarchs would have by now built some better stuff for us. And it turns out it's really only gotten better for them, hasn't it? Are we starting to put it all together to pull away from like Instagram a little bit? I haven't grown on Instagram at all. I really kind of like, I'm stuck on Instagram and I can't, like there's nothing. I'm wondering if there's any ROI there. What is the return on investment like? I don't know. There's nothing there. I like it here. I like you guys. And also, Substack is the only platform that I can think of. Substack is the only platform where there is a measurable, quantifiable, like, way to monetize one's content and one's efforts. And I appreciate that, and I appreciate you guys, for those of you who are paid subscribers, um, for, you know, keeping the effort alive. So thank you.
Did somebody fall down? Oh, kids. Somebody fell down, but they're okay. We're good. Um, yeah. So, thank you guys for subscribing. I really do appreciate it. More to come. And I think I like, I like the water's nice here. I'm going to spend more time here on Substack than at the other places. It's just I'm, I'm enjoying this. [snorts] Um, thank you, Rory. Paid subscriber. Linda's a paid subscriber. Look at you guys. I'm, I'm learning how to... Fran, Bridget, Amy, Amanda, Julie, Mora, Wayne, Janette, Lena. Oh, now I can see Nan SK Terlex. Thank Don, you guys are the best. Um, Mike, nice, nice. Love your Substack. I love you for loving my Substack. I love Substack. It's a way to create. Instagram's very good with the visuals, but Substack is a way to create. Yeah, there's the newsletter DNA. That's how it all started. Uh, but they've enabled so many tools to really kind of create your own multimedia magazine, which I appreciate. I can share links to things I find worthwhile. I just read yesterday, I'm going to share it here on Substack, in Robb Report, which is luxury men's stuff, but it's Robb Report's very well done. It's owned by Penske, like everything else is. But, um, something about there is technology emerging in the hair loss space, uh, where in terms of treatments without doing the transplant thing, like going, um, getting on the plane to Istanbul and getting on the hair plane to Turkey to get the hair transplant. There are emerging technologies and advances in, I think, topical treatments that are stimulating, like, growth from the follicle, like reawakening the dead follicles or something, which is fascinating because I know hair loss really is an Achilles' heel for a lot of men. I don't, like, personally, like if I started losing my hair, I'd be relieved. I'd be like, 'Oh god, I can shave it. Great. One less bell to answer.' But no, this was actually, I'm going to share it today. It was in Robb Report, guys. Like if you're looking for, you know, maybe an alternative to having to book a trip over to, uh, Turkey on the hair plant to get your transplant. Might not have to. What was that other one? Noxidil 9 or whatever. There is that thing that's been around for a couple of decades. It's the trick is FDA approval, and the last, apparently the last technology, the last sort of treatment, the last time the FDA approved a new treatment was, it was like 20 years ago. So it's been a while. We're ready for a new one, I think. Anyway, time will tell, guys. Time will tell.
And, um, that's about it for now. I'm going to jump back on later. I just wanted to say good morning and hey, and thank you for your support, by the way. Um, Substack is, I think, the mothership here, man. And if you want to see some of the older stuff, and I have to revisit some of the older stuff, uh, go to georgehahnarchive.com. That's my old website, which I'm still very proud of. I love the look of my old website. There's a part of me that really misses it. It's a WordPress website. I love WordPress. Um, it's good. There's a, like, all the stuff that I've, everything I'd ever written, um, that wasn't written for somebody else, like Airmail, um, or Avenue or any of my other magazine gigs, everything I've ever written is at georgehahnlive.com or here on Substack. So, thank you guys for hanging out. Thank you for your support, and, um, I'll be in touch. All right.
