Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian military to make Ukrainian cities uninhabitable, unlivable. And Donald Trump, the president of the United States, is openly aiding and abetting in those war crime efforts. We now have confirmation today that leaked Ukrainian documents, documents obtained by Ukrainian intelligence, confirms what the ultimate goal of the Russian military is: to make cities unlivable, uninhabitable, to make them sanitary nightmares. And now the Russian officials close to Vladimir Putin are openly saying the quiet part out loud. They're not hiding it anymore. They say that the United States and the Russians are united against Europe and against the United Kingdom. It comes on a day where Donald Trump faced mass protests nationwide for No Kings Day. But admittedly, it is difficult to even attend one of these protests when I have family being bombarded in Ukraine nearly every single day. But this is why this news matters and why I need your help to get the word out. The more you like, comment, share, the more people see. And if you can, please consider subscribing to support this work. I cannot do it without you, and I will never stop, no matter how hard some of these days get.
Because right now, the Russian government is saying the quiet part out loud. Kirill Dmitriev is a senior Russian official, one of Putin's closest allies. He often negotiates with the Americans, with Steve Witkoff, with Jared Kushner, and he is now sharing, quote, "Things have changed." On the left, you have the United States in a bald eagle and the Russians in a bear. On the right, you have them facing off against Europe, against the United Kingdom. Russia and America stand together against Europe and the United Kingdom with the caption "together." They're no longer hiding it. "The enemies of global security, cooperation, and prosperity will not be happy." That's what Dmitriev says with the Russian flag, a handshake, and the American flag after Donald Trump decided to suspend the Lindsey Graham sanctions bill. "Checkmate," he says. And it comes on the day that we're learning that the Russians are actively working to degrade the quality of life in Ukraine, to make Ukrainian cities uninhabitable.
The goals of the Russian campaign, according to an assessment seen by The Guardian, are simple. They are to degrade the quality of life of Ukrainians through power outages to fully shutting off the water supply, which the document coolly predicts would cause a deterioration of sanitary conditions and the forced outflow of residents from cities. The document does not specify which Russian agency developed the assessment, which is titled "Analysis of Ukraine's Energy, Housing and Utilities Sectors," including vulnerable Ukrainian energy grid targets, and even contemplates strikes against high-risk sites, including the switchyards at several nuclear power plants. But several European officials with the document have said it has likely been produced by analytical departments linked to the Russian military. This year, Russia appears to be putting those plans into practice. On Tuesday night, Russian strikes hit three major power plants in the Kyiv region: combined heat and power plants four and five, and a thermal power plant in the Kyiv region, as well as a major electrical substation that transfers electricity from two of the country's main nuclear power plants to the capital. Those, along with the substations that make up the Kyiv energy ring that help bring electricity from across the country to the capital, have all been targets of a Russian barrage that, if successful, can threaten a human catastrophe in a city of more than 3 million people — a city where my family lives. It is honestly a very difficult situation right now for those on the ground, and it is a difficult situation given the fact that the United States government is actively aiding and abetting this effort. And while even some of Donald Trump's closest allies, like Bill O'Reilly, are sounding the alarm.
So, President Trump made headlines, as he does every single day of his life, by lowering the tariffs on Russian diesel fuel. Okay. So now Putin, who is a killer, can get around the economic sanctions and sell his oil. Not much, but it doesn't matter. It's a symbolic thing. I don't know why Donald Trump has done this. I'm trying to find out. So far, I'm coming up blanks. Why are you doing this? If you look at his past, President Trump, this is usually a prelude to some kind of deal he wants to make. Unfortunately, those deals have not come in in the last two and a half years. So maybe it's a backdoor play. I don't know. It caused a lot of problems in Europe, a lot of problems on the left here and on the right. I mean, this is one of the few that people are just going, "Why are we doing this? Why are we not punishing Putin to the full extent of economic law or economic strategy?" I don't know. I'll find out. But this is a real tough one.
"This is a real tough one." That is what allies of Trump now claim. And it comes on a day where the president was protested nationwide. No Kings Day once again. Thousands and thousands of people across the country, probably over a million people, have taken to the streets against the president. I want to show you some highlights. I was at the Washington, D.C. rally. Here are some moments from Washington, D.C.
That's directly from No Kings Day, Washington, D.C. And well, the president's traveling to Kentucky today. He can't even face — he faces heckling everywhere, including in Kentucky.
