Bill McDermott, it is great to have you back here on Fort Knox and CNBC. I really just actually want to start off. I'm trying to track companies that are really pushing the boundaries when it comes to AI. I was just talking about a month ago with Jensen Huang of Nvidia. You guys came up specifically. He called out ServiceNow and talked about the potential for AI to really drive a new era in enterprise software. So first off, tell me how your partnership with Nvidia is going.
Yeah, John, thank you so much. I want to absolutely give a shout out to Jensen for being such a great friend and a great partner. I absolutely believe he's the GOAT of the AI revolution and he deserves all the credit. This week we've announced at Nvidia GTC, which is the big global AI conference, that we're using the latest NeMo inference microservices and we're developing new LLMs faster and more cost-effectively than ever before. And we're also using Nvidia's hardware, GPUs, and their software, Triton for inference, NeMo for tuning LLMs. Plus, I really want to thank Jensen and Nvidia for being such a great customer. He has this vision that connects that GPU directly to the Now Platform and they're running all things IT and employee experience in their wonderful company on the ServiceNow platform. So we're super honored. And most importantly, together we've developed an AI Lighthouse program that puts together hundreds of our engineers and Nvidia's engineers and we're co-creating industry-specific use cases. In fact, we made a major announcement for a telecommunications company with specific GenAI solutions and they're really elevating the customer experience game and they're maximizing service uptime and drastically reducing cost. So big thank you to Nvidia and Jensen.
Well, what's amazing, John, as you know better than anybody, getting the first-mover advantage in tech is a super important thing. And we've been building LLMs now for over five years and we have the most ambitious GenAI roadmap in enterprise software. And less than six months after we introduced Vancouver to the marketplace, now comes Washington DC. So we're seeing our primary strategy, which is domain-specific LLMs that run faster, they cost less, they're far more accurate and secure. And now we're absolutely running away with this marketplace in the enterprise software space. And we're always friendly to all the market participants and all the big ones integrate seamlessly with ServiceNow. So if there are other LLMs the customers are working with, they seamlessly integrate them into the ServiceNow platform and then they're in position to take the AI platform for business transformation end-to-end with ServiceNow and transform their companies. And what does that mean? That means think about faster ROI, think about a single pane of glass that resides above the legacy systems that can connect people, processes, data, and devices. And look what it does, John, it attacks tech debt. In the United States alone, the United States companies are blowing $2.4 trillion a year on tech debt. The source for that, as you might remember, is the Wall Street Journal. And to put that into context, that's two and a half times more than the United States government pays in annual interest on the national debt. So this is a big problem and that's why having one platform that's the uber platform for digital transformation, ServiceNow, in the enterprise game, changes everything.
