Jensen Huang discussed Nvidia's upcoming Computex keynote, his trip to China with President Trump, and the company's growth. He said the China trip was historic and successful, and that the $200 billion CPU market opportunity is 'someday' not today, tied to the new Vera CPU. He called Vera Rubin the most successful generation yet, with every frontier AI model company as a customer. He confirmed H200 is licensed for China and stressed that compute equals revenue. He addressed Supermicro's compliance issues, saying Nvidia insists partners follow laws. He highlighted Spectrum X and Nvidia's Ethernet leadership, and noted Nvidia plans supply 2-3 years ahead, growing nearly 100% year-over-year. He said Nvidia has invested more than AMD's $10 billion in Taiwan partners. He mentioned a new Taipei office event, open-source AI, and the 'open claw' event. He called Vera Rubin the largest product launch in Taiwan's history, with 2 million parts and 150 partners.

Key takeaways

  1. Vera Rubin will be Nvidia's most successful generation, with every frontier AI model company as a customer.
  2. H200 is licensed to ship to China, and Huang wants to serve that market.
  3. Nvidia grew almost 100% year-over-year this quarter and expects continued fast growth.
  4. Vera Rubin systems have almost 2 million parts and involve 150 ecosystem partners in Taiwan.
  5. Huang called the China trip with President Trump historic and successful.

Let's check that audio is okay.
No.
All right, sir.
Here, that's something cool right there.
Yeah, nice to see you.
It's good.
Okay. Okay, go.
Here, have something to drink.
Hi, it's very hot, yeah? You hot?
Yeah.
Here, thank you.
Taste it? Yeah, really? Yeah, really?
Uh-huh, you did not. We did so. Yeah, probably.
He was all... He's little. No, no, he's not driving.
All right.
All right.
Wow, where did these pictures come from? Yeah.
My wife doesn't even have these.
Maybe she buys them from you.
So many pictures.
Okay. Yeah, can we talk about like we got Computex on June 1st. Why do you come so early this time?
Jensen Huang 5:30 ↗
Well, I have a lot of work to do before then. I have customers to see, some partners to see, I have employees to see. And it's okay. It's okay. And I have a company meeting and so I have a lot to do.
Unknown 5:48 ↗
So, where do you go to landmarking tonight?
Jensen Huang 5:51 ↗
I think I'll get some sleep tonight.
Unknown 5:56 ↗
Oh. Yeah. Be careful. Somebody pick that up before we step on it.
How was your trip to China with President Trump? And after your trip, what's your view on the current relationship between Taiwan and the United States?
Jensen Huang 6:12 ↗
I was greatly honored to accompany President Trump to China. It was a historic trip. It was a very important trip. And I applaud both presidents for having such a successful summit. It was an excellent meeting, and it was a great honor to be there.
Unknown 6:27 ↗
Can you talk about the 200 billion CPU market for China? And do you mean that opportunity is between China as well?
Jensen Huang 6:37 ↗
I would think so. You know, 200 billion dollars is not today, it's someday. And it includes, of course, all the data center CPUs. And this is a new market for us. You might have known at the last GTC I spoke about a new CPU we're building called Vera. And Vera is a really exciting CPU, and I'll tell you more about it next week.
Unknown 7:02 ↗
Are you seeing the more stronger than expected demand on Vera Rubin?
Jensen Huang 7:07 ↗
Vera Rubin is going to be the most successful generation so far. Hopper was very successful, of course. Grace Blackwell has been incredibly successful. And Vera Rubin is going to be even more successful than that. In Hopper, we only had one or two frontier AI model companies working with us. Now, we have every frontier AI model company working with us. So, every cloud, every computer company, every frontier model. So, it's going to be a very fast ramp.
Unknown 7:38 ↗
What is your update on H200 for Chinese customers?
Jensen Huang 7:42 ↗
H200 has been licensed to ship to China. It would be terrific to be able to serve that market. The Chinese market is very important, it's very large, of course. And if we have an opportunity to increase the capacity of computing in China, it would be terrific. As you know, in the world in the era of AI, computing equals revenues. And because the computer generates the tokens and the tokens generates revenues. So, in this era, compute equals revenues. And if we can provide incremental capacity into China, it would be terrific.
Unknown 8:21 ↗
Are you going to see the construction of the new... Sorry. Yeah, yeah, the construction of new Nvidia office.
Jensen Huang 8:32 ↗
I just sent him an email. I'm looking forward to seeing him. I'm sure I will see him. Maybe have to meet CC tonight or this week? I'm sure I will see CC. Yes, I'm planning to.
Unknown 8:44 ↗
I'm sorry? What's your viewpoint on the CPU market? It seems that it grow a lot according to our analyst.
Jensen Huang 8:52 ↗
Yeah. The reason why the CPU market is growing very fast is because these AI agents has become very smart and AI can now use tools. And the tools run on CPUs. We have a brand new CPU called Vera and Vera CPU is going to be very, very successful. It's going to be a big growth opportunity for us.
Unknown 9:17 ↗
James, Taiwan prosecutors this week also said that they are investigating Super Micro servers containing Nvidia chips to China from Taiwan. So, is there anything that you think Nvidia could do to prevent that from happening?
Jensen Huang 9:32 ↗
We're very rigorous in explaining to all of our partners all of the world's laws and regulations, and we insist that they're compliant with laws and regulations. Ultimately, Supermicro has to run their own company, just as everybody has to run their own company, and I hope that they will enhance and improve their regulation compliance and avoid that from happening in the future.
Unknown 9:56 ↗
After Spectrum X launch, everyone is talking about like CPU technology. How do you see the future of it?
